created separation of CURRENT_VERSION and DATA_VERSION. The data version is calculated from the highest available patch definition. Future clients are backward compatible to this older DATA_VERSION already but didn't know it until now. This logical separation solves various confusion I had about the network communications system, and should also ease development of future patches.

The search filter has a problem with event names that contain regular expression syntax (technically LUA pattern syntax, which is similar but not identical), such as parentheses and hyphens. Setting the type filter and selected key is enough to highlight the new item in the list without also setting the text search filter at the same time.
