This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Hey, you what would be great? if you could do the same for warlock summon!
i have this problem with summoning someone, but antotherone is already doing so.
The Warlock summon might not be necessary; Blizzard put in (then took out) the ability for Warlocks to create a summoning stone, which can be used to summon multiple people. We will see if they put this back in.
People might have seen the Release version up. I get no errors at all, which is why I tagged r103 as a Release. Everything works, including Revive and Death Knights, the keybindings to FuBar.
Of course, you can't auto-res someone as Blizzard won't allow addons to target, and haven't since about patch 1.10 or so. I use the manual target for released players, and the auto-res key for normal corpses, and in both cases casts the appropriate res spell on them and puts the bars on my screen.
Zidomo, thank you very much! I've been having too much fun with WotlK to code atm, but I'll get back to it soon enough, and check out what you fixed :-)
The other thing I was thinking of doing was rewriting to use LibResComm, but we will see.
I did notice that Ace2 has been updated, so that makes it a bit easier, but yes, upgrading libraries is a good idea.
I can confirm that the support for Revive is there and I'm seeing the bars pop-up; however, the keybind is still not working properly and I'm not sure what the problem is. I use the default of Ctrl-1 and for whatever reason that does nothing even though it's bound correctly in the application.
I know this was a problem previously, is it possible that the problem has remained in the most recent release?
Uploaded r100 a short while ago. Has Druid Revive & Death Knight support like you had intended to put in, Myrroddin, but its actually tested & working now.
Removed Babble-Spell-2.2 & replaced it with GetSpellInfo info. Basically used your code for the GetSpellInfo stuff, Myrroddin, but removed apostrophes that caused problems. As well, didn't add in your other changes that broke the mod (its currently all Ace2/old libraries).
Once WotLK arrives this week and SmartRes continues to work without errors in it, I'll bump the TOC and tag it for release. Unless you'd like to do that Myrroddin :).
Yes, this should be updated to Ace3/LibBars/etc.. But until working code is provided by someone (I'm a professional software tester by trade, not a coder), may as well continue to use what works now.
"Alpha2" (which is actually the working circa-WoW 2.4.3 r87) does not contain the new Revive spell. Only Priest Resurrection, Shaman Ancestral Spirit & Paladin Redemption (the three OOC reses pre-WoW 3.0). I may add it in when I have a level 12+ Druid to test on.
And a note: the only reason I rolled back your non-working changes to the previous version (in Alpha2), Myrroddin, was because that earlier version still works in WoW 3.0.3 live.
If the earlier version r87 (the last one by Poull) was also broken, I would not have done anything ;). But as it works without issues for many people (including in my testing), decided it was better to have a working version out there than one that didn't work at all.
GL with your changes; hope you are able to update it (properly) in the future :).
stonecow, weird, since that alpha has the Revive spell in it. Or should, at least. In any case, since every version I try on my own computer won't allow me to config (bind a res key, show the anchor, appear on FuBar) that's why I am rebuilding the mod. If the addon is working for you right now, even w/o the Druid spell, keep using it.
In the meantime, I'm still coding when I can spare the time.
Has support been added for the new Druid spell? This works fine on all of my other characters, but for whatever reason I have yet to see it working for my Druid.
The file erroneously tagged for patch 2.33 (Alpha2) has Revive, and if it works, the key bind to auto-select a res target accounts for it. Death Knights are also on the list.
That said, some people are saying the mod works, others do not. This is on the WowAce comments. As far as I can tell, the bars work; it is the anchor and key bind that does not.
Yeah, it's the key-bind that doesn't appear to be working on my Druid. My priest has no problem and the addon is working perfectly, but that isn't the case on my Druid.
Don't give up hope, I really appreciate you taking this up and working on it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates it either. :)
Contrary to the notes above, SmartRes is working just fine in WoW 3.0.x live. Poull's last r87 (and the current "Alpha2") are working without errors or issues.
Bars appear when you & others res, the party/raid chat alerts occur fine and so on. So you may want to rephrase "SmartRes is not working on live 3.x", because it is not the case ;).
I clicked the wrong button when uploading, and that version shouldn't be on Curse, as it is pre-Alpha build. Please don't use that version, or at least at your own risk. I am re-writing the code when I can, as there are several things broken (FuBar support, the slash commands, etc) and will upload a new version when it is functional.
Because the working code has not been updated since that WoW patch.
Contrary to the notes above, though, SmartRes is working just fine in WoW 3.0.x live. The original author's (Poull) last version (r78739.12) and the current "Alpha2" are working without errors or issues.

Thank you fo thinking about :)
But I will keep random sayings in mind, possibly for SmartRes2. We'll see.

Yea it's been working fine for me on 3.x but my druid's new ooc res seems to be missing from the mod. That's the only problem I've come across.
