Server Groups #564

It would be nice to see this working across Server Groups, not all my alts fit on one server anymore, so I have bank alts on other servers in the server group.  It would be nice to pull up to those alts banks and see what my primary toons need for crafting.  Aside from this one issue, I love this addon so much and appreciate thoroughly your having put in the time on it consistently.  Thank you!

Blizzard doesn't provide any "Server Group" or "Connected Realm" support in the API. Skillet uses the Ace3 libraries including AceDB-3.0 which doesn't provide any "Server Group" or "Connected Realm" support either. Enhancing Skillet to provide this support is a major project which I'm not willing to undertake.

If certain criteria are met (which cannot easily be checked by an addon), then please see this issue for details and a patch that might work for you.

Issue 561 addresses just one part (the shopping list) of what you are asking for here. Changing all references in Skillet from realm.* to global.* would probably work as long as character names are unique and all characters are on the connected realms.

It won't work in my case because I have some characters on realms that are connected and some characters on realms that are not connected. Without Blizzard support I can't tell the difference, there's no IsThisAConnectedRealm() function call.

I've gotten some information that may make this possible. I have removed the declined tag while I investigate.
