What is the issue? The range indicator doesn't work on new characters.
Please provide any additional information below.
Hello,
First of all thanks for this great addon, it has improved my gameplay alot. But I do have a problem with it. My range indicator seems to be broken with new made characters.
When I installed this addon and had it all customised to my preferences, I made a new character. It seems that the range indicator isn't working (again, this works fine on my already existing characters):
- When I target myself I am faded out. (see http://img255.imageshack.us/i/wowscrnshot010811121633.jpg/).
- If I target an NPC he is always "in range" even though I am clearly standing too far away from him. (see http://img338.imageshack.us/i/wowscrnshot010811121703.jpg/)
- If I target a MOB it is the same as targetting myself, he's "out of range" even while fighting him in melee range. (see http://img710.imageshack.us/i/wowscrnshot010811121719.jpg/)
If you need more information please ask. And sorry for my bad english.
Hope this can be fixed.
Greetings,
Sxcy
(edit: links weren't correct)
I have encountered this issue as well, but, the source of it for -me- was the spells used to range check weren't trained.
For example: On my level 85 paladin, my hostile range checking is performed by Hand of Reckoning. If I use that SUF profile on a level 1 paladin, that does NOT have HoR, it can't discern range. I would check what spells SUF is using for range checking, and make sure you have it use spells the character has learned.
Thanks alot for the response FynexFox! I've tried it immeadiatly and it worked.
Declined either due to not wantign to add it or more complicated than I want
