3D portrait remains when using combat fader #211

    What steps will reproduce the problem?
    1. using the combat fader, ropping out of combat, my bars will fade out, but portrait remains.

    What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
    When I'm out of combat, my entire player frame would fade. after 4.0.1, the bar fades, but portrait remains.

    What version of the product are you using?
    3.2.12

    I don't actually know if the portrait can be faded. I'll test this.

    Nev, I've never encountered this problem prior to the patch.

    I am also using a noncombat fade on SUF with 3d portraits turned on. I have found that the portrait fades as intended until I open a full screen map. Oddly this is happening for me on the player and pet frames but not the target, target of target, or focus frames.

    The portrait seems to fade just fine, so it definitely can be faded. But the fading level resets itself in various situations, notably as a druid when you shapeshift.

    I haven't tried it yet but I think that making the fader update itself upon the UNIT_PORTRAIT_UPDATE and UNIT_MODEL_CHANGED events should fix it.

    I'm unable to duplicate this with shifting, so I'll assume it's fixed
