I'd like to have an option to turn on shield/absorbs into the health bar similar to incoming heals. PWS, Mana Shield, Ice Barrier, Frost/Fire Ward, Arena Grand Master, etc.

There are existing addons that add this (mostly) to SUF already (minus the default blizzard color/styling, but functionality is similar):

Absorbs are handled similar to incoming heals already.

Check the config under Units -> Player -> Bars: Heal Absorb, Incoming Heals, Incoming absorbs
