This is very important if you are a healer, it works for player frames, but for party frames you cannot see incoming absorbs at all unless they are 100% hp.

Indeed, this issue looks to be present since at least 2014 :(

Ok so, I finally found the time to check the code.

I don't have enough knowledge of the architecture of the addon, but changing this value is working for me (it even fixes the color being faded):

Edit the modules/incabsorb.lua file, first line, change the value for the key frameLevelMod from 3 to 0, and reload.
