Target Range Indicator #1273

I'm not sure if this is intentional but I can't imagine it is.

I enable Rage Indicator (Unit Config>Target>General) and set "Out of range alpha" to 50% and it works properly when targeting creatures or monsters, however anytime that I target another player, the range alpha on the frame is always at 50%, even if they are standing right next to me.

Hope you can make sense of what I'm  trying to explain. Thanks

    What class are you playing?

    Mage.

It also seems to be doing the same thing when targeting friendly NPCs

Can you check your settings for SUF, in General -> Range Checker, if there is any spells configured in there?

There shouldn't be, because Mages don't have any reliably friendly casts to use for this.

Also, to be clear, are we talking about classic or retail?

I'm referring to Classic and I don't think anything is configured under Ranger Checker

I see the problem, it uses the inspect distance as a fallback if nothing else is available, which in live is close to  30 yards, but on classic is much shorter. I'll  see about using another distance instead.
