This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Note: as of Jan 2021, Scorchio has been flagged as abandoned due to the original author not carrying over her account to the new Overwolf system. Overwolf refuses to undo this. It isn't possible to release new versions while it's flagged as abandoned - they never get packaged. The original author flagged the project as "All Rights Reserved", so I'm not sure whether Overwolf would allow me to create a new forked version, even if I wanted to. Ultimately, the best path for everyone is probably to move on from Scorchio and build what you need around something like WeakAuras or TellMeWhen. -ywfn666

Scorchio2 is an addon for Mages that tracks Living Bomb, Nether Tempest, Ignite, Slow, Flamestrike (Flame Patch and snare), and Polymorph on multiple mobs, and can give you warnings and notifications when the debuffs need reapplying, or have expired completely. Scorchio can also provide bars for personal buffs/procs/summons: Clearcasting, Heating Up, Hot Streak!, Brain Freeze, Fingers of Frost, Combustion, Icy Veins, Arcane Power, Rune of Power, and Mirror Image. Up to three anchors are available for use (targeted, non-targeted, and buffs), and the sort order for bars within each anchor is customizable.

Use /scorchio2, or Blizzard's Addons configuration window to configure Scorchio2.

Localization Help Needed!

Lots of work has gone into translation, but there's still some left to do. Localizations are easy to submit on the WowAce Localization Page, and help many users. Please help with this if you're able. And thanks to everyone who's helped so far!

Hi, this mod is Great.
But if I start fight with Living Bomb the timer does not work

I noticed a similar thing last night, however it worked sometimes but not others. It almost seemed like if I did it too close to the start of combat, the timer didn't show.

Usually I toss living bomb up the second the tank pulls, as the aggro it generates is negligible. If I waited a tiny bit, I had the timer show up more reliably.

Yup, this is a known issue. Basically, Scorchio! 2 doesn't listen to anything before you're in combat, and as you're technically out-of-combat when you cast the first spell, it doesn't get picked up.

I have a few ideas for ways around it, but until then, if you start a fight with a living bomb, you will unfortunately miss the bars and notifications for that first LB. Any others cast once you're in combat will register though.

hello, this mod is really great, started to use it and can't get rid of it.
but i'd like to know, is it possible to add a feature to disable some messages to be displayed?
it's good to display "re scorch mob X now" but quite annoying/spammy to see "living bomb exploded on mob X"
so i'd have loved to be able to choose which messages to display, or not (i still want to track both debuffs, but just choose the messages to be displayed or not)

That's not possible at the moment, but it's a relatively easy add, so I'll put it on the ToDo list and now that the holidays are out of the way, you can look to see it an a commit coming your way some time soon. Ish.

this is a good mod and improves over scorchio considerably, thankyou.

What i would request is an option to turn off display of mob names if so desired.

Then the scorchio bar could be less wide and just show the x1,x2,x3,x4,x5 stack counter etc which is all I need to know for most fights.

0.9b3 released today has the option to customise the bar text, using simple token replacements - $s will be replaced by the stack size, and $m will be replaced by the mob name. You can use this to completely omit the mob name, if you so choose.

It is planned that Scorchio! 2 will handle other classes, but I do want to keep away from writing "Just Another (De)Buff Manager" - there are plenty of those already. I don't know too much about Death Knights at the moment, so can you tell me - are those debuffs you mention collaborative (ie: if multiple DKs apply them, is it a single debuff which renews) or individual (separate debuffs)?

your mod is awsome ... is there a way to rewrite it for deathknights ? for spell (56361, 55095, 49632, 50508, 49631) i hope thats the right spell id's

Probably not - Scorchio! is not a generic mage helper - it has a specific role, which is to warn you when collaborative debuffs need to be reapplied before you and your group lose the benefits. While it's probably possible to stretch that definition to include Polymorph (and some would say that Living Bomb tracking already stretches it), Frost Nova really doesn't count. Besides, FN breaks on damage and even if you're warned it's broken, you have no way to reapply it due to cooldowns - Scorchio! does the opposite thing - it tells you when a spell is still active so you can reapply it /before/ it fails.

There are plenty of addons that you can use to track FN and Polymorph - I use Elkano's Buff Bars for both.

Scorchio! 2 uses LibSharedMedia-3.0 to access sounds made available by other addons. If you have no sounds available in Scorchio! 2 it would imply you don't have any other addons using LibSharedMedia-3.0 (and providing sounds). Having had a quick look around, it doesn't look like there's a "basic SharedMedia sounds package" available, either - I will look at adding a couple of basic sounds to Scorchio! 2 in a later update for people with no sounds available from other addons.

How do I get into options panel? I dont have an icon on my minimap. Commands like /scorchio or /scorchio2 dont work either.

Scorchio! 2 is configured via the Blizzard Configuration window - hit Escape, choose Interface, then AddOns and you should find it in the list of addons there.

I may have over looked this, but how do I move the bars out of the middle of my screen? If that's not an option, I don't think I'll be using this add on.

This would indeed be a good option. I care about 10% crit debuffs entirely differently than I care about Living Bomb. For 10% crit, I only care about my current target, but I care regardless of which mage owns the debuff. Whereas for Living Bomb, I care regardless of which target it's on, but I only care about my own.
