What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?

Given the number of places where Blizz likes to say "No flying for you!" (leveling in Pandaria, Isle of Thunder, Isle of Giants, Timeless Isle, any BG, what few instances even let you mount at all...) I think it would be very nice to have the ability to set both a land and flying mount as "hot mounts" for when you can't fly and when you can.  That's pretty much the extent of this notion; it's hardly critical or game-changing.

(Transitioning from one universal to two separate selections might be a bit tricky though, not sure the best way to go about handling it.  Maybe leave current hot mount as-is and add in a flying-specific drop-down that defaults to "no hot mount" or possibly disabled altogether?)

I completely agree and its something I meant to do a long, long time ago. I'll try to find some time and get it done.

Pretty sure this was equal parts superseded and solved by the new "new hotness" set-up.
