PitBull Unit Frames 3.0
Please note that PitBull3 is no longer being actively developed. On top of lack of active development itself, it's based on the Rock framework which itself is no longer maintained either.
I strongly recommend that users migrate to PitBull4. You can not convert your config from PitBull3 and must reconfigure.
PitBull4 itself can be found at:
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/pitbull4.aspx
You can find guides for setting it up at:
http://www.wowace.com/addons/pitbull4/pages/guide/
And the FAQ here:
http://www.wowace.com/addons/pitbull4/pages/faq/
While PitBull4 is still in beta it is fully functional and has more features than PitBull3. It is actively developed on and bug fixes made regularly.
I do not plan on making any fixes to PitBull3 once Cataclysm releases. So you have plenty of time to make the migration.

PitBull is a Unit Frames addon that provides maximal customization and undergoes rigorous efficiency testing. It is created in a modular framework, which allows for mulitple authors to put their skills to work creating this great project.
It has support for many different kinds of units: player, target, pet, pet's target, target of target, target of target of target, focus, focus' target, party, party pets, party targets, party pet targets, raid, raid pets, raid targets, main tanks, main tank targets, main assists, main assist targets, etc.

How do i save my profile, i guess you could call it...Every time i log out and back in my frames are back in the middle of my screen, my size isnt saved and the textures, colors, ect. are back at the default
Is there any plans to add a feature like x-perl, where you can display a table of casters (including what they are casting) and who they are targeting?
just downloaded this ui and have to say its very good but not the easiest to figure out as other people have already mentioned. I am happy with it apart from thing and for the life of me can not figure out to turn it off, cos its really bugging me. On my health frame, it shows total health and how much health i have, but to the left in red, it shows the deficit of health, how the blazing hell can i turn that off for, player, party, raid cos its annoying me. Thanks.
I had the same prob as i installed Pitbull today. Found out that for Player the option is under Player--> Texts--> Health ... you change the "informative" to something of your liking. Although i did not find the same option under Target, Party or Raid.
I got another question... in X-perl even though in BGs you are in some form of raid, the party panel would still be shown, despite you having raidframes enabled or not. Is that possible to be done in Pitbull without having to turn on the whole Raid UI?
I just had to reload this mod after changing hardrives. 2 issues Im having, theres no bar fading happening when people are out of range and names arent highlighting in red when a player gets aggro. I tried to mess with the bar fading section but I get a "nil value" error message when I hit anything. Seems to be an issue with that section only. Im not even sure if its related to the 2 problems Im having but its the only fading options Im seeing. What am I missing?
For some days now, my whole UI crashs at least once a day mostly during raids and I traced it back to this mod. The graphics overlap or show false infos like wrong class colors or totaly blank. It makes me unable to click any action keys or even log out properly. I have to kill wow via alt+f4 and also loose all settings or logs made in that session.
EDIT: I installed an older version instead the suggested version from wow ace updater and it seems to work so far.
@Arienae
You can split buffs/debuffs for each module. It helped me alot. This way I have my own buffs showing at the default position, buffs on my target on the right and debuffs below.
Just tried it. Generally this is an excellent and highly customizable UI addon (takes a while to configure though) but there is one module that gives me a headache. Namely Aura. In theory it's all nice - it filters the buffs and the debuffs on the target and the party members based on your class. The problem is that I'm a MT in a raid environment. That means I HAVE to know about virtually every single effect that is on my target. I need to know if it's dotted, I need to know if it's self-buffed (so I can ask someone to purge/steal), I need to know if it's properly debuffed. This goes way beyond just the debuffs used by my class. Basically, the standard Blizz UI is in that particular area just perfect for me (all buffs/debuffs shown and my own marked with a larger icon). Sadly, turning off the Aura module does not cause the UI to revert to the standard settings. The debuffs don't show at all, so it's even worse.
Is it possible to disable the Aura filtering somehow? I know there are options to add to the list of the tracked buffs/debuffs but I cannot imagine entering the names of all the effects (including those used by mobs, granted by trinkets and so on) possible in the game. I just want it to show absolutely everything that is on the target with no filtering whatsoever. If that option exists and I missed it somehow, I'd be very grateful if you tell me how to do it. So far this is a great addon but I just cannot use it during the raids...
@Arienae
There are options to do this right on the main auras option page for any unit type. You'll see two checkboxes to enable buff/debuff filtering.
EG: Target > Other > Auras
Fixed problem with clean installl.
But, i dont have potraits, was that feature removed? :S
am i the only one who suffer the lag problem when someone in raid log in and out ?
Is there a way to unlock the party unitframes so I can move them independently and not have them all linked?

whenever i login or teleport pitbull spams the guildchat with the message "healcomm99937" plz fix this..i play on prv serv and i have the latest pitbull rev
that's because you play a private server. the coding is mucked and it screws with addons. also theire illegal. play a blizz server they more friendly
I can't adjust the height of my Focus's Target frame. Anyone else facing the same problem?
how can I configurate Banzai module
Great addon, makes healing much easier than xperl.
One problem though. My target bar, while out of combat, is fine and dandy. Once i get into combat, sometimes it will disappear for seemingly no reason. Anyone know why? Also, in the top left, sometimes i get a target bar with a greyed out name and it doesnt always target what my target is. It tends to just lag behind in targets. For example, I'll have targeted a cat in a BG and when I exit the BG the cat is still targeted. Random eh? Any help is much appreciated.
3d Model Problems
So I am creating a layout for my toons and I seem to be having problems with the way the 3d model updates. If you look at Hunter Target and Hunter's Pet Target you will see a few problems.
First the model in the target fram is the full body 3d model and not the head. Second the cat picture shows that model never changes regarless of what I target.
If I go into the options and select and unselect Pitbull->Target->Other->Portrait->Full body it updates and all is fine until I target something new. What happens then is whatever I target gets the Full body model of my last target.
I also checked in the Pitbull->All units section and my setting look to be correct there as well.
Any thoughts?
i by-mistakingly disabled my player frame, and i cant seem to get it back, can anyone help :$?
