Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

MrTrader is a Tradeskill window replacement, with additional features to streamline how you interact with others for your tradeskills, especially if you have alts. Browse all your tradeskills from any character on the same server, link them just as easily to others, and even allow others to ask for a tradeskill link without having to do anything on your part.

Tradeskill Window Replacement
- Difficulty Filtering
- Custom Collections
- Context Menus
- Auction House-style Filter Browsing
Auto-Responses in chat to link requests using '!full' or '!link'.
- Supports Guild, Raid, and Whispers.
- Fully configurable, with privacy-friendly defaults.
Server-Wide Tradeskill Access (requires a LibDataBroker display)
- One-menu access to your tradeskills.
- Link any tradeskill you know, or your alts know.
- Browse any tradeskill you know, or your alts know.
- Browse your guild's tradeskills without having to dig through the guild roster window.

LibDataBroker displays like Fortress or TitanPanel are required for the Tradeskill Access menu feature. I personally like TitanPanel, but any of them will work.

Note: I have been on break from WoW, and would be happy to pass the reins onto someone who is interested in running with the project. I can catch them up to speed on where things were going and share some prototypes I was playing with before I went on break. Contact me if interested.

Awesome, just what I was looking for.
One thing I would think useful is for enchanters if it would reflect scroll AH prices for enchants.

Can you open a ticket on this? This is something I've been kinda-sorta planning on doing, but it will help make sure it doesn't get lost in the rest of the asks I've gotten lately.

I like the new trade skill window, but am I missing something, or are there no "Create"/"Create All" buttons? More importantly I cannot see a way to create multiple items at a time (which makes smelting a bit tedious)... Btw, I am using the v0.6dev branch from SVN.

There is a tab at the top of this page marked 'Tickets'. Clicking that takes you to a page where you can submit a new one. There is also a 'Ticket' button on this very page next to download and install that takes you to the ticket creation page.

Sorry, I've never used this site before, I didn't know there was a ticket system :( I tried reading the overview several times to see if you mentioned a better place for bugs, I guess I should've tried to find a general site FAQ instead... thanks though...

EDIT: latest build does fix it though, looks great too, thanks again :)

Can I ask that people start actually using tickets for reporting script errors, and include what version they are using, and all the other nice things that the bug report form asks for (which helps me figure out what the error is)? I'd like to keep comments on this page aimed on more general Q&A/feedback on the add-on rather than pasting up incomplete bug reports.

Not right now. You can use something like Gnomish Yellow Pages to track links from the guild or trade.

"Profit Estimation only supports AuctionLite for auction data, for now." So there is plans to add other auction mods? I personally prefer Auctionator over AuctionLite ;)

You're a god. The new version is fabulous. The only thing that would make it better at this point imho is if you could click on an item and cache all the ingredients you need to craft it (kind of like ATSW). LOVE the new graphic display....Nice job and thanks :)

Yeah, something to help shopping for reagents and crafting queues is something that I have on the todo list... but inspiration hasn't hit me yet on how to make it all work. I have a rough idea of something that could be pretty slick, but it just isn't quite there yet. At this point, it will probably be the big feature for the next major release after 0.6.

Some of the stuff I'm working on for 0.6 will make something like Overachiever easier to support in the new UI. I'm trying to get the bulk of the guts done and respond to probably the biggest ask I keep getting (to make the window movable).

I'll need to get that off my plate before I can look at Overachiever.

i used ATSW so far and for years now, i even tried a couple of other tradeskill apps but always returned to ATSW ... i changed now to MrTrader and I have to admit it looks and feels really good !!!

Any chance to get MrTrader work together with Overachiever... this has brought small icons in front of the recipes, which you need for achivemnts, like cooking ... this would be way great

It closes because it is on the normal window stack like most windows. The client tries to make a guess as to when to close a window to make room for another.

Take a look at the latest beta. You can use the "Undock Window" option to make the window movable now. It's been a highly requested feature, but I wanted to get some of the major UI work out of the way for 0.6 first.

Is there a way to make the tradeskill window moveable? The problem is if I want to trade the profession window is at the same position as the tradewindow. I have allready tried several addons like MoveIt, Move Anything or DragQueen but nothing worked. I hope there is a solution for this problem because this would make the addon perfect for me.

The tradeskill window also closes if I'm talking to an NPC to buy the needed reagens. Maybe there is also a fix for that problem.
