Raid Tracker

Table of Contents

Keeps account of attendance, loot and DKP for raids, parties, battlegrounds, arenas and now solo for questing.

Works with SexyMaps, Minimap Button Frame, Titan Panel, FuBar, and others for easy access menus, and a minimap icon if no other manager or bar is installed. Provides export strings for DKP for most popular DKP posting formats. Supports loot filtering via loot options window /rt io, or on the minimap menu.

 Chat commands:
  /rt      - main window
  /rt o    - options
  /rt io   - item options
  /rt help - help
  /rt hide - hide or show the application icon

Curse site release updates are working normally again. Raid Tracker, Hellbender DKP, Tell Track, AddOn Studio. Use links to get files same as before. Enjoy.

I have noticed another error...

Whenever i set item-looter to "bank" or "disenchanted" it sets the value to [nil] which makes it impossible to export the DKP String.

When i set it back to an "existing" player name, exporting will work again.

Sry im german too, so i hope you understand what i mean :)

On the raid end part, it leaves the raid open on purpose. It doesnt know if you are switching toons, left on accident, got kicked playfully, etc.... In some situations it woudl suck badly to end the raid for things liek this. It *will* end a log session if: you hit the end button, start a new raid, or the group attendee count goes to 0. There is no option at the moment to change how this works. I'm more than happy to consider chaing hwo this works, but ther is alot of precident already for how this works and this app has been around for a long time.

A little more about the underlying theme... In a lot of cases the app saves state that normally you wouldnt expect and tends to be exactly in the same place you left it. This solves many issues, like long DCs and party changes, raid reforms where you leave before the raid goes to 0, changing toons with no though about raid tracker, resuming raids the next day with one log, raids that go very long times, ones you leave and rejoin after dinner, power outages, world server freezes wher you have to do crazy things with the raid itself to make go again, wrong raid id with wrong leader, and so forth wont affect it, which is a good thing.. If you look at things like zones, current bosses, dates and times, loot matching, whos online on not, player leave and join times... its very resiliant and geared towards real world raid issues adn makign sure you get your information to take the pain out.

One thing i can do is if you switch into raid mode by joining or converting to a raid, then cause a new raid to form and end it, but that gets into causing chopped up raids if you get kicked, log out in a city by accident, etc.. like was said before, ill think about what can make this easier.

Hi, i have the problem that RaidTracker doesent end the Raid to track after i leave the Raid.

RaidTracker tracks the raid the hole time until i push end not if i leave the raid!

Is there any options to do or its a bug?

(Sorry iam german ;)

From the 2.1.12 release notes:
-general bug fixes
-added two WotLK default item exclusions for badges
-fix for viewing items if save tool tips is on
-localization fixes
-added locale string capture
for this change the .toc LCapture option to 1. this allows for
capturing which strings are not localized for a given locale

On the last item this allows for capturing and localizing string for any one who wants to help for those. The reason for this is that alot of the strings are data driven and not expressly in the code. When capture is on missing strings will be saved per session in the RaidTracker.lua database in the WTF folder. Each locale is saved separately, and forwar and reverse lookups are saved separately. I do need localizations for LeaveParty for functional reasons if anyone wants to help. The exact string wil be captured in the reverse lookup capture table in the database.

For filtering the new badges i add the following three lines after line 84 inside data.lua

Ill look into the error, thanks. The events only shows when ther are recorded boss kills. It works crtualy, but the "events" or bosskills arnt workign, is a legacy issue for the old oen i stil need to fix and bring up to WotLK level. Its coming in whats goign to be 2.2, in a few more releases

Max level was fixed to 80, it really only applied to export for DKP it looks like.

From the 2.1.11 release notes:

-fix for log items 6 or less not showing list
-lowered the custom event firing delay on load from 10 to 2
-added message of selected raid not exist and ends the fake raid
on this one please post a message if you see this still
was error t = nil on line 4xx
-changed default loot logging to common from rare
this should make nicer for parties and solo/questing
and for raids can always use the filter
ill has a minimum export rarity option later to make exports easier

I think im going to have to start doing beta releases. Too complicated now. Id rather not but ther have been some showstopper errors lately

For raids nto showing up, its when you have 6 or less, the scroll bar doesnt activate. This is my fault for not testing with fewer raids in mine. For nwo jsut hit the new button enough times to have ti display, to get over 6 raids and wil work fine. Ill fix this.

2.1.10 is constantly getting the following error:
RaidTracker.lua: 466: attempt to index local 't' (a nil value)
