When clicking "sort bags", the items sort, but often leaving rows in the middle of the big empty, sandwiched between rows that have been properly sorted. This occurs on all characters regardless of bag space.

Sorting is done using Blizzards sorting, which does it on a per-bag basis. No plans to add any type of custom sorting.
