What steps will reproduce the problem?1. Equip a BtA Item2. Be a level higher than 13. Look at Average Item Level
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the BtA item to show the appropriate item level of the character that has it equipped and average it correctly. However, it only shows level 1 and reduces the average item level for all other items.
What version of the product are you using?
1.7.7

Example of Issue

If you examine the image I uploaded, you can see the average item level is 37.25. If you count the BtA items as being level higher, the average item level will increase.
Since item levels do not correspond exactly to character levels, you will have to "guess" the item level of the BtA item. This could be done by finding equivalent blues near the required level and determining the item level.
This is an interesting suggestion and I would like to implement something like that. I don't like the idea of guessing the item level very much though. It would be interesting to know how Blizzard handles heirlooms for the dungeon finder item requirements. I haven't found any information about that though :( Another solution that I like would be to not show an item level for heirlooms and exclude them from the average item level calculation. That would result in a similar avg item lvl to what you propose, but wouldn't include any guessing.
