Can you please try if this error also occurs with the other addons disabled?

I have looked at the error message you posted and I'm pretty sure that this is a bug in another addon. In case you are interested, here is why:

The line where the nil error occurs is the 2nd line in the following snippet (FrameXML\InterfaceOptionsFrame.lua:651):

for i = 1, #categories do
  if ( ( not categories[i].parent ) and ( name < strlower(categories[i].name) ) ) then

As far as I can tell, the .name of another entry (i.e. from an addon that was loaded before InspectEquip, since this happens before the InspectEquip panel is inserted) in the category list must be nil. This is very strange, because name cannot be nil when an addon adds its options category, so it looks like it is set to nil after it is added.

Therefore I think that this is not a bug in InspectEquip, but some other addon.
