I'd like to be able to show missing buffs, for example Power Word Fortitude, (which i can now) but only out of combat. Is there an option to only enable status our of combat?

You can use a trick but only in version 841+, you  must use the "Combat:mine" status.

Link the combat:mine status to the same indicator that is displaying power word fortitude, in this way when you enter combat the combat:mine status will override power word fortitude status.

Remember to setup a transparent color for combat:mine status (if you are using a square indicator) or enable the "use empty icon" option if you are using an icon indicator.
