I noticed the addition of colours for shields: absorb-above-maxHP and absorb-below-maxHP.

I welcome these additions but the obvious configuration for me is to have a bar like incoming heals display this, but it isn't possible to add my own anchored bar. Basically I think it would be nice to have a second special case bar anchored to incoming heals.

At the moment I can add absorb-below-maxHP to my incoming heals bar. But it will only show either this or incoming heals depending on which is higher priority. What I'd like to be able to do is create another bar called shields which would be anchored to the heals bar. Thus the resultant display would be 3 bars and a space where health deficit is shown. Like so:

    Health Deficit
    Shields
    Incoming Heal
    Health

Like incoming heals it would be nice to not show heal amount above max health, this would have to interact with incoming heals. So if I have 80k health in a 100k health bar and a 10k shield that would be fine. But if I then had an incoming heal of 25k, 5k of the incoming heal would be hidden as per usual, but the 20k shield should also vanish.

I prefer to see the order I outlined above, but I can definitely see people wanting to show the following order as well. So perhaps it would be worth allowing heals and shields to anchor from one another as a config option.

    Health Deficit
    Incoming Heal
    Shields
    Health

    Cheers

Exactly the way that Shadowed Unit Frames shows incoming heal and shields actually.

This is definitely a needed feature, the one major thing that caused me to switch to different raid frames.

I'm confused. The status if this ticket was changed to Fixed, but I don't see any relevant change?

If this is indeed possible in the current version of Grid2, I cannot figure out how.

Edit: I figured it out. I can delete the existing "health" and "heals" bars and create my own "multibar", which is what this ticket wants.
