    In revision 630,  custom layouts can be included in exported profiles (there is a check option).
    A bit hackish and uggly: custom layouts dont  fit very well with profile export/import system because the configuration is global and really does not belong to any profile.
    But must work.

    Warning: Importing profiles with custom layouts will delete previous custom defined layouts but im going to change this, its not very safe.

    @michaelspain: Go

    I know of a case where a person got a new computer, wanted to restore their profile and in the end the custom layout were missing. So they had to redo them. Dunno how about you, but for me the import/export is something of a backup solution.
