names on frames randomly blanking out #1457

    What version of Grid2  are you using (Version is displayed in General/About Tab) ?

     3.3.2

    What game client version, classic or retail, windows or mac and language are you using ?

    retail/windows 11/ english uk

     

    What steps will reproduce the problem?

      I have no idea  - its on random people (eg 3/4 ppl in 25 man - progging hc crown of cosmos). There names go blank on the unit frames so two druids are both just blank orange frames for example. Its not class specific.,
    Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?

    No I also have details, ssenseiclassresourcebar, MRT, bugsack, UUF and bigwigs

      

    Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one?

    I dont know if you pushed an update today, I load curse client everyday and take all updates every day and the issue started today for the first time (ftho on discord others say it started with midnight for them but then got fixed in a later version)

      

    Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack).

      

    Please provide any additional information below.

     I have a grid error in bugsack but Im not sure its related

    Update to version 3.3.5-beta.

    What kind of content are you doing? This can happen  if  raid roster is changing in the middle of a combat. And this is not common, except in open world content.

    Latest version should avoid the crash, but some data like private uauaras are not going to be displayed correctly, because blizard blocked the possibility to made some unit  changes in combat.

    We were in a guild run progging hc last boss in voidspire. We did have one person join late but the random blanking of name plates was through out the night. I could relog and have them get their names back, but then it would just happen to a different bunch of people.

    No roster changed mid combat to clarify

    The error posted is related to units changing in roster, maybe units not joined, but something changed midcombat like role or another player property and some unit changed position in the displayed layout.

    This can happen too if the layout is displaying pets and pets are summoned, but the error message posted is about a change in a player unit, not a pet.

    Anyway update to latest version.
