No errors, I just want to be able to put a slight border around mana bars to easily track at a glance where they are "percentage-wise" without any melding you get from mana->health cross-over...if this makes sense. A border would help define it.
Also to add, would help with the Shaman class specifically since the colors are almost identical.
You can enable a black background in the mana bar indicator settings.
And to add a border, there are several ways to do that:
- You can resize the height of the health bar just to leave a 1 pixel separation between the health bar and the mana bar.
Or you can put a background a bit bigger than the manar bar behind the mana bar using a square/rectangle indicator, or a line between the mana bar and the health bar.
* Goto Indicators > Right Panel
* Create a square indicator
* Goto the square indicator configuration layout tab.
* And enable the "rectangle" option.
* Now you can resize and place this rectangle behind the mana bar or between the health bar and mana bar (select a 1 pixel height size to create a line)
* You must link a color to this rectangle indicator so goto statuses > colors and create a black color, then link this color to the square indicator in the statuses tab of the indicator.
-Another option is to use a different texture for the mana bar.
-Or can change the color for the mana bar too, in statuses sections look for the mana status or the power status.
I liked the line idea, so I went with that. I had to make multiple "lines" because the Width only went up to 50 (I'm using wide frames). However, I just ran into another problem. I have mana loaded for Healers only, is there any way to get these lines to only show up then as well?
Below the width slider there is a small edit box there you can type any width value, or you can set zero width, this means: use the unit frame width.
The only way to hide the line is to link the mana color to the line instead of a static color, and configure a black color for the mana status. You must change the Mana bar color too and use another fixed color status linked to the mana bar.
