In the Grid2 addon, when another player dies, they are displayed as "Out of Range" even if they are standing right in front of me.
Is this a known bug within Grid2 itself, or is there a setting I can adjust to fix this?
Due to the new midnight restrictions the addon cannot check for the distance to another player, so the 38 range code now checks if some friendly spell can be used on the player, and this is not the case for a dead player.
But if you are are healer or a class with a rez spell you can use the "Heal range" option setting in the range status configuration. This option checks if dead players can be resurrected.
Thanks for the reply! Actually, I tried switching to 'Class range' instead, and it worked—dead players are no longer fading out and stay visible within combat res range on my Death Knight. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!
