Stackable debuffs are showing as 1 stack. Previously it would only show stacks at a minimum of 2.
Also, an icon group will not show stacks at all, only an icons group will.
the stack count is secret value, but i’m almost sure that C_UnitAuras.GetAuraApplicationDisplayCount can be used, at the cost of performance.
C_UnitAuras.GetAuraApplicationDisplayCount
Interesting, I just checked with my danders profile and it correctly doesn't show stacks until a minimum of 2, but I didn't know about the performance cost. I guess it's not really a big deal though.
Blizzard added extra functions a few weeks ago and now yes, its possible to hide the stack count at 1 stack.
But i did not change the behaviour because, i like to know if the buff/debuff is stackable or not, its more informative (if 1 is displayed this means the aura can increase stacks, if the aura displays nothing, means the aura cannot grow in stacks).
About single icons not showing stacks maybe you are talking about the predefined single icon indicators in the center and sides of the unit frames ? You can enable stacks for those icons, you have to go to each icon indicator settings in the Indicators section > layout tab and enable the stacks in the the Stack Text section.
You can add extra indicators of any type (icon, icons, bars, text, shapes, squares, etc) too, in the Indicator section > Right panel

Please consider adding an option to only show stacks at a minimum of 2. New behavior is very uncommon, many people got used to how stacks work before. For those who prefer the new behavior, they can switch it in the settings.
