Grid2 version 3.0.12World of Warcraft Retail 12.0.0.65560
Hi, I play a Restoration Druid and I’m having trouble with aura filtering on Grid2 after the 12.0 changes.
Because indicators no longer work the way they used to, my frames are showing a lot of extra information that I do not want tracked, like Mark of the Wild and Efflorescence. I found a partial workaround by going to Statuses > Buffs > Relevant and checking external defensive buffs, but the problem is that this also prevents the self HoTs I actually need to track from showing up, like Lifebloom, Rejuvenation, Regrowth, and Wild Growth.
I assumed this was purely due to Blizzard’s new restrictions, but I installed another raid frame addon, Dander’s Frames, and by default it does not show Mark of the Wild or Efflorescence while still showing my HoTs correctly. That makes me think I’m missing a setting or that there is a way to filter which buffs are eligible for display beyond the current options I’m seeing.
Is there a recommended Grid2 configuration to hide non critical buffs like Mark of the Wild and Efflorescence while still showing self cast HoTs, or is that currently not possible in Grid2 due to 12.0 API restrictions. If it is possible, could you point me to the correct settings. If it is not possible, do you know how Dander’s Frames is achieving it.
Thanks for any guidance.
It's not officially possible. Im not going to waste time coding this behaviour because its a trick that could be fixed by blizzard soon, i have too many broken things to fix before.
