What steps will reproduce the problem?

  Applying Rejuvenation a 2nd time to a character
Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled?

 When I apply rejuvination a second time as a resto  druid the Germination buff does not show up, but shows up on the default ui.

Unfortunatelly i cannot fix this issue, default UI has no restrictions to display any buff or debuff. but the filter API provided by blizzard  for addons to display the relevant buffs for your class  don't display this specific buff.

You can go to Statuses > Buffs => Relevant buffs configuration and check the "Display all buffs" or "Display players buffs" option, but then you will see too many buffs (specially in raids).

for some reason.... Dander frames seems to show germination .. but seems to not detect MOTW on the rest of the party (at least in follower dungeon testing)

it also was able to hide MOTW on self, which grid shows. but not on party

Dander frames displays the same buffs than the default blizzard raid frames, because the addon is gathering the debuffs from the blizzard raid frames addon, so you need to run at the same time both addons danders and blizzard frames.

Im going to add a setting to enable the same workaround, but as an optional feature because it is very resource expensive, and it is a trick that blizzard could block/break at any time.

You can try 3.0.9 version, there are extra filters options in: Buffs->Relevant and Debuffs->Relevant

Now you can select "Buffs from Blizzard Unit Frames", "Defensive buff rom Blizzardr Unit Fames" or "Debuffs from Blizzard unit Frames" to display the same buffs/debuffs blizzard  unit frames is displaying.
