What version of Grid2  are you using (Version is displayed in General/About Tab) ? v2.8.97

What game client version, classic or retail, windows or mac and language are you using ? Mists of Pandaria Classic, Windows 11.

What steps will reproduce the problem? Join any random heroic dungeon with "Auto Detection debuffs" enabled, and experience them not getting added anywhere.

The instance will show in the Custom Module, but no debuffs will be added.

  
Did you try having Grid2 as the only enabled addon and everything else disabled? No.

Was it working in a previous version? If yes, which was the last good one? Yes, I didn't play most of Cata though, but I have used this feature for many many years, and litteraly never experienced any issues.

Do you have an error log of what happened? If you don't see any errors, make sure that error reporting is enabled (`/console scriptErrors 1`) or install [BugSack](https://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/BugSack). No lua errors are thrown during this.

You can try out 2.8.98-beta-mists version, if possible report back if this version fixed the issue.

This did indeed fix some stuff.
I don't know the full extend of the issue or what caused the fix, but it does look like debuffs are getting tracked properly now on auto detection and put in a module and an instance.
