    yes please add.

i have taken a screenshot of there being no ability to tick the things that can be cured/despelled/decursed, on the curing options tab, nothing can be ticked, all greyed out

but i dont see an option to add it with out it having a link to a website.

    Figured out a fix

Type /Decursive  then go to custom spells.

Type in Cauterizing Flame and make sure to check the Curse box and Disease box.

then Type in Expunge and check Magic and Poison.

Expunge is the actual name of our dispell.

    Thank you!

Does anyone know if there's a way to add Bleed since Evokers can now cure that?

  • Dumbledroid posted a comment Nov 26, 2022

I tried this fix and id didn't work for me.  No idea what I did wrong.

The tank on a 12 key was whispering me all the time telling me I have to dispel, I was like wth.

  • Dumbledroid posted a comment Nov 26, 2022

Also the name of one of our dispels is Cauterizing Flame.

The other is not Expunge.  It is called Naturalize.  I am talking about Preservation here, not the dps spec, but when you enter this name--Naturalize, you get a message saying the spell is not in your spell book, but it is there.  Also, I am not sure but maybe "Expunge" appears in the talents.  (?)  I continue to be confused and will simply pray for now that someone can help.

I'm not sure also if you need to check the box "Allow internal macro editing for the above spell."

I did exactly what Tirakan detailed above and was still SOL.

Maybe you need to check this box and/or call the spell Naturallize vs Expunge.  But I did try Naturalize and the addon would not let me add that name.

I have no idea but do not want to brick yet another key.

Sad about this as I have healed on all the healers and never had an issue.  Now I am used to this addon and how it works and need keybinds for the two spells and different UI frames unless I can figure this out, but feel bad when bricking other's keys.

    Any help would be great!

you can add Naturalize by using its spellid 360823. but it is still listed as unavailable.

  • Dumbledroid posted a comment Nov 26, 2022

Are there other addons that do the same, or a weakaura that works for Preservation?

Can confirm Evoker IS working with the latest update, you just have to enter the spells by yourself. Spell names are "Cauterizing Flame" and "Expunge" as mentioned before. Expunge will automaticly cast Naturalize as intended for preservation evoker.

+1 to add bleed effects as category though.

Definitely need Bleed as a category.

Apart from that, without any additional setup only Cauterizing Flame seems to be detected even if Expunge is present.

I expected both Expunge and Cauterizing Flame to be available - first for Poisons-only, second is for Bleed-Poison-Curse-Disease.

  • nezorflame posted a comment Dec 3, 2022

Addon shows Expunge/Naturalize as "already managed" even when you try to add it manually, but they're missing for the Effective spell assignments, so you can't use them unless you unlearn Cauterizing Flame.

It looks like that addon thinks that one replaces another, which it doesn't - Cauterizing Flame is an additional spell.

I'm not sure if bleed are detectable by add-ons (unless we identify each debuff by id which is a no go).

Can you explain why cauterizing flame is not better than expunge if it does all what expunge does and more? (genuine question)

Also you can add it back if you check the "allow internal macro editing" checkbox first.

@archarodim Cauterizing Flame has 1 minute cooldown while Expunge/Naturalize have 8 seconds.

    It goes like this:

    - 365585: Expunge (only Devastation has this) - removes Poison - 8 seconds CD

    - Naturalize (replaces Expunge so same ID, only Preservation has this) - removes Poison and Magic - 8 seconds CD

    - 374251: Cauterizing Flame (class talent) - removes Bleed, Poison, Curse and Disease + small heal - 1 minute CD

    thanks, totally missed the cooldown!

It should be fixed in the alpha that was just released, please confirm.

  • nezorflame posted a comment Dec 3, 2022

Thanks, seems to be working correctly now!

Would also be cool if it understood swapping talents, i.e. when you remove Cauterizing Flame - removing it from the buttons without having to /reload, but that's a feature request for another day :)

normally it does understand talent swapping, it's not instantaneous but it should reconfigure within a few seconds of switching talent, there should be no need to /reload. You can type "/dcr debug" to check if it detects the talent swapping.

Can you test with the latest alpha?
