This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

3.0 Note :

A new command is available : !full <craftname>, returning the link to the profession, browsable directly by the person requesting the link.

Description

A few months ago, I wrote EnchantList, that addon allowed people to whisper you !enchant followed by keywords, and get back a list of enchantments you can do, matching the keywords. GemList was created a little later, based on EnchantList, and was doing the same for Jewelcrafting.

CraftList2 is a rewrite from almost scratch of those. It now works for every profession in the game and is handling 3 triggers:

!enchant <any combination of keywords and itemlinks> example: !enchant [Ashbringer] 35 heal

!gem <any combination of color/stat/reagent/text> example: !gem red, !gem [Talasite], !gem 5 strength

!craft <any combination of reagent/text> example: !craft belt of blasting, !craft belt [Primal Fire]

The database is updated every time you open a craft panel. The GUI is brand new, use /clist or /craftlist to open the panel.

this may be an option already or not, but since I'm new to using this addon (which is awesome btw) I'd like to request the ability to turn on requests to only guild members or anybody. That way if I want to sell enchants I can simply put it in the trade channel so ppl can query my enchants easily, however I don't want some idiots to continue spamming search queries all the time. So basically when I want to sell enchants I put it on for public searches, otherwise it'll only allow guildies to search at any time.

Any chance the !craft option can be made to respond to particular professions/toons only? At the moment if someone whispers !craft chest they get 134 results. It'd be nice to be able to use say !craft tailor chest and see just tailoring recipes or !craft tailor toonname chest and see just tailoring recipes for that particular toon.
Other than that wish it's a great mod.

Just a small suggestion from here:
Could it be made so that !craft does -not- show the gemcuts?
IE, when I query !craft spell I get answered with (ao) Glowing Shadow Draenite.
When I turn off the gems in the menu, it doesn't show them for !gem anymore either...
At this moment, I am therefore using gemlist (I turned off !gem in craftlist), but gemlist doesn't answer on !gem orange for example...

I believe the issue with !gem orange has been fixed. Are you using the newest version of gemlist?

Ok i'm having a problem setting this up for my leatherworker, it has my character's name and profession in the active crafts menu, but when someone sends me !craft leather or anything of that nature it doesn't respond. It works fine with !gem or !enchant responding "No Results Found". It will even respond with the instructions to !craft but it doesn't seem to search my leatherworking for responses. Any ideas?

Does it not show results when you whisper yourself, or when someone else whispers you? If it's when someone else whispers you, it may be that you turned off return whispers and thus simply don't see what was sent back (see my post a couple down from this one).

Been using this mod for a short time now, after being a huge fan of GemList and EnchantList. Great work adding in everything else!
2 requests:
1) Option to disable all recipes below a certain level from linking, rather than having to manually uncheck them all.
2) An option to provide a notice that the addon responded to a request and the result count.
i.e. dude1 whispers "!craft armor", you see the output: cl2: Received request "!craft armor" from "dude1", responding with xx results.
It appears to work great, but whenver I get a whisper (I turn off showing the retunred whispers), I wonder whether it worked the way they expected, especially if I get no followup whisper.

Same thing happened to me. I disabled Craftlist2 and it fixed it.

Hi, "!encahnt oil" and "!enchant sphere" returns with the itemlinks ([Superior Wizard Oil], [Void Sphere], etc..), not with the enchantlink ([Enchanting: Superior Wizard Oil]..)
i tried to remake the list by deleting the ../savedvariables/craftlist2.lua, but still not working.
Its a bug, or..? Kinda annoying link these manually..
