What steps will reproduce the problem?

Instead of producing a window with the text to copy, it consistently produces just a completely blank window.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Using 1.5.2-6-g9e1ba35

I'm the same it itsnt posting anything in the copy window. so I tried reinstall and it doesnt work. 1.5.3

can confirm this also , just get a black screen pop up with no text :(

Here's a patch for this issue (note: I am not the addon author)

To install: right click "Raw" and click "Save Link As", replace the file "Interface\AddOns\Chatter\Modules\CopyChat.lua"

It's a bit hackish but it seems to work.

Edit: Spoke too soon. Yes it gets the copy function working, but only sort of.  It only stores several lines MAX. An improvement, to be sure, but I may have to look into finding some other addon that meets my needs.

@Alayea Yeah, unfortunately it only stores the lines of chat currently visible. You could temporarily expand the chat window's height and click copy chat, which should include more lines.
