Error I get when typing /tloc xx,xx for a waypoint. Error only occurs on first attempt to set the waypoint. No matter how many attempts no waypoint is set, no arrow shows up. The waypoint option is enabled and arrow size is set to about 50%:

well at least we cna change the size of the palyer arrow and group indicators...but the config menu still leaves a lot to be desired. You need to be able to disable alot of the stuff that shows up on the map, especially in BGs b.c like i said cartographer is useless is BGs and I have to rely on the minimap for BGs which blows.

WOW THE NEW CARTOGRAPHER SUCKS!

Was waiting for the cartographer 2 fixes then found this and thought I'd give it a try. I think it's awesome, worked fine so far but I'll post if I find any bugs. Thanks a lot to CKKnight and any other developers.

The one request I do have is the minimap module from C2 to be made to work with it, missing it a lot. Thanks in advance.

yeah the pvp maps are really horrendous and you cant tell wtf is even going on with the giant player indicators and all those weird symobols for towers and gy and giant orange and blue squares.

I have some strange icons in BGs.. The old blue/red/grey icons of GY, Towers etc. are gone and there are some strange ones. The colors dont match and I can't see the timings etc. Is it a bug or can I change it somewhere?

when you guys zoom in all the way, can u see the terrain? all i get is a blue screen.

Same here. workaround by moving the "Texture Change Zoom" all the way to near, at least that way you can zoom all the way in. Waiting impatiently for the fixes... all my addons are getting updated rapidly right now. :)

This is an excellent Addon and I hope there is an update soon to fix the 3.0.2 errors. Mainly the biggest issue is I cannot view the options.

Instances are not working at all with the german client
right klick on the dot an "zoom in" is not working and teh menu on the botem left is not working either.
When i zoom out i cant see them as in your screen

With the new update, it seems to be running well with zooming in, and also with the config menu. Now just need to add the quest addons please. :]

Thanks for all the hoard work everyone, Im still having one issue. There were two different quest addons for cartographer. One remembered quests you did and saved the information (this is not the one im curious about.) The other one is http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9020-Cartographer_QuestInfo.html. Is there anyway we can get his updated. I dont care about the database even as much right now I just really miss the look of the quest log.

Install the following 3 libraries from curse (directly to the addons directory, not the cartographer directory).

LibSimpleFrame-1.0
LibSimpleOptions-1.0
LibSimpleTimer-1.0

Go to main.lua in the cartographer3 directory and change:

InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToFrame to
InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory

Your menu should work.

looks like ck fixed the main.lua search for "InterfaceOptionsFrame" and the only one that shows up now is "InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory"

obviously not being able to open the config menu AT ALL, is a pressing issue..can this be fixed asap?

Just go to the standard WoW Interface menu. Cartographer only tries to open that menu anyway.

BUT you still can't do anything :p
