This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

CARTOGRAPHER HAS NOT BEEN UPDATED FOR 3.3!!!

DO NOT CREATE BUG REPORTS SAYING IT IS BROKEN!

There are no plans to do any major bug fixes for Cartographer (v2 or v3). If there is an update it will only be a minor fix. (It has already been this way since at least 2008.) Cartographer(v2) uses an outdated framework that will not be updated in the case of major breakages so Cartographer(v2) would require a complete rewrite. Neither of the two main developers (Ckknight and Arrowmaster) have the time nor desire to do this currently. Occasionally a new version might be released to include fixes made by other developers or new versions of embedded libraries.

Cartographer is a modular, lightweight, and efficient framework for manipulation of the world map. It is based on Rock and other libraries of the WoWAce community.

Battlegrounds : allows viewing of battlegrounds outside of the zone.
Coordinates : adds coordinates to the bottom of the world map of the player and the cursor.
Foglight : Shows unexplored areas on the map. replacement for MozzFullWorldMap or Unexplorer. Much more efficient, though.
Group Colors : turns all your party's and your raid's POIs into circles colored based on class, and shows a number on them based on their raid group.
Instance Maps : shows maps of instances.
Instance Notes : adds boss notes and such to instance maps.
Look 'n' Feel : allows you to change the transparency, position, and scale of the world map.
Notes : lets you put notes on the map, similar to MapNotes.
Zone Info : on hovering over a zone, it will show the levels of the zone, the instances in the zone, their levels, and the group size the instance is made for (e.g. 5-man, 40-man).

ya i dont know if this is a bug or a conflict, but whenever i leave northrend and go to Kaldimor or E. Kingdoms I get this "Blah!" on my screen that randomly moves around the screen.

Here is a link to a screenshot of it.
And it would be great to know what causes this and how to fix it. Also this did not start happening till after i had installed Carbonite.

Cartographer does not produce frames with "Blah!" in it, so I suggest you ask elsewhere. Hope you'll get it sorted!

OK back to the Blah coming up on the screen. this is something to do with cartographer. i woundent be the one to know how to fix it but here it is:

Please help me debug this i have quest helper and cartographer installed and i cant get the 3D arrow to show i have tried resetting qh and cartographer, and /qh cartwp, and enable/disable waypoint in cartographer, none of it works
strange thing is, when i logon my other character, the arrow shows up. Its just on my death knight, i cant get it to show.
PLease help

It will show again when you are out of the phased content and into the real world (around level 58).

Please help me debug this

Ok ive sworn by this addon forever... and now i cannot seem to play without it. Im still having a problem with it working properly. If anyone feels any sympathy and thinks they can help me get this working, im at [email protected] Im at a loss.

Ok, this has just finally got me pulling my hair out. 2 years and I haven't figured this out.

When ever you're flying on a griffon and have Cart open, you are looking at another zone, and the second the griffon reaches a subzone border, it snaps you back to the zone map you're in.

WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY does it do that by default, who would want that behavior ever?!

and in the name of all that's holy HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW HOW do you turn that blasted feature off?!

I'm fairly sure that is a default map behavior in any map you will look at, if it relates your character icon (the arrow) onto the map you are viewing. I bet its some blizzard protected thing. if you load a map into something that is just a viewer, like i think maybe atlas, it wouldn't do that. And there isnt a checkbox to turn it off :( sorry!

Thanks heaps for the addon, have been using it a couple of years now. Just wondering if you could let me know why Carbonite doesn't import my Cartographer notes? No error message, just after I click the button to import it, it says "0 notes imported" and that's it.

When I run this, and questhelper at the same time, the waypoint arrow is locked pointing in one direction(IE, it always points to the lower right corner of the screen, or the left, depending on the day), if i Use Cart3 it works, but it lacks some of the features.

Anybody else having this issue?

Seeing how I get an error trying to post a ticket.... When changing the waypoint arrow size from 100% to say, 80% and trying to move the waypoint arrow to any position, it snaps to offset positions.

I am getting the following 2 errors. The first is when I enter the game In pre-wrath content. And the swecond is when I try and make a way point from Lightheaded in wrath content.

I'm having some problem.
1.I can't find out some Northland dungeon's maps like Utgarde Pinnacle,Hall of Lightnin or The Oculus...etc.
2.I can't see loot data even I have already open it.
