I've noticed that an error pops up whenever changing area while still targetting a mob from the previous area. It's not really an issue, but perhaps something could be added to check if the player has changed zone so that it doesn't generate an error in the chat window and create any confusion.

I'm in need of help on this. i download this app and i drop it into my addon folder like everything else,
when i go to my addons tab in WoW, i get (dependancy missing) on all the cartographer based addons

what am i missing?

btw, i am on a mac, maybe that answered my probelm?

Is there a way where I enter co-ordinates and cartography places a mark or something? If not, it would be great if this feature was implemented :)

My cartographer isn't tracking herbs. I've downloaded it, and I ran the .sh file (linux equivalent of the .bat file). I searched for the Cartographer_Herbalism &CO directories but couldn't find them. Also searched for it, in case it was a separate addon, but didnt find anything.

So. What am I doing wrong?

PS: Also removed an old herbalism save file from an earlier version. no go.

In AV I can not see any towers or GYs when I check the map. Anyone know of this problem or have a solution?

When i try to make it lesser alpha, it only take the frame.. And when i try to cross it off my addon list, my map won't work.. I choose to delete the add-on becourse it SUCKS

Anyone know how to import/export data from Cartographer? I play on my laptop and desktop, and would like to be able to keep accurate data on both

I'm reporting afk players using bg minimap. So it works for me although i do have lots of addons.

You can't right click on the players inside battleground map and report them as AFK.

How do you get Cartographer to display herbs on the maps? I have downloaded and added a couple of things that I though twere it but none of them seem to have worked...

Just get cartographer1 as well from http://files.wowace.com/index.html# and run install.bat when you unzip it into addons. It is from original author and there wont be anymore errors.

? Am I missing something here? Using cartographer and am liking it but everytime I log in I get errors. Half the time i open my map I get errors. It is very annoying.

Can anyone suggest something similiar but better addon?

I have used Cartographer for almost a year now, i have only gotten errors after the larger API patches. Something that have been fixed in 1-2 updates.

ATM i run this addon without any errors whatsoever, this is THE best map addon atm as i see it.
Metamap is decent but that addon lack some of the great functionality this addon have.

I suggest you delete your old saved variables for this addon if u have any. And try from fresh.

Again i use it all the time atm, i am hardcore levelling a druid atm.
Played 1000 am - 0200am with some minor breaks for food, and an occasional poop.
Probably typed in about 100+ /tloc´s and notes. switched zones etc etc. no problems. not one error.

So if you are having problems it is either you that havent deleted saved variables as instructed at some point. Or you have some poorly written addon that are conflicting screwing with cartographer. i suggest you read the error logs. And use the bug reporting as suggested above. perhaps also showing the same to the author of the addon it might be conflicting with.

i have no problem with latest fubar and cartographer now... i just use cartographer1 ace override and everything works like a charm now

done with cartographer and fubar too... that crappy mod manager killed them both. gatherer/titan for now, hopfully this all gets sorted out and fixed i miss cartographer :'(

at least my new gimppy (and very nutered) setup works kind'a.

To get rid of rock you need ace override cartographer1!

This is how to make cartographer work... go to http://files.wowace.com/index.html#
from there download cartographer AND cartographer1

DELETE cartographer AND cartographer1 folders from your addons folder (if you had them)
UNZIP cartographer and cartographer1 there
go to cartograpeher1 folder and doubleclick "install.bat"

voila... now it works like before.

For every cartographer update you have to repeat this procedure (deleting both folders and running install.bat once)

I just wanted to say i too left cartographer because of rock.

I totally hated rock. please! remove it and leave cartographer as it was before! It brakes most of my other addons!

when i Download cartographer and logg on wow it spawn up an error: Cartograper/Cartographer.lua:7: Libary Cannot find Dewdrop-2.0..

i tried download dewdrop too.. but still cartographer aint working..
