i LOVE cartographer, but for some reason the cords and waypoints arent working. i get an error message every time i open my map now. hope it gets fixed soon

I love cart...use it all the time
but where do i get Cartographer_Herbalism, and Cartographer_Mining?

just stick the extracted mining folder in your addons folder.

Is anyone having problems using Cartographer with Fubar at all? I have disabled all addons and then turned them on one by one but as soon as Fubar is turned on Cartographer stops working. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with FuBar and the Cartographer, i have installed MobMap on top of it and that helps me find some NPC's and such however i still dont have coords for some reason. I am looking for another kind of coords program instead.

i have used for ages metamap, but it has a update rating too low and a bounch of bugs,
Now my friends and guildmates use cartographer, so i have installed it
I have some problems, but the big one (fror me) is the coords area (at the bottom of map).
it seems to be something wrong, i have two cues of coords one over the other so i cannot read coord numbers.(all numbers are mixed ) I have tryed to update but it dont fix it.
there is anywhere i should look to fix?

Is there anyway to set it up to import the MetaMap database with all the npc's / locations ?? Cartographer is great but I miss the MetaMap database (since metamap hasn't been updated since the stone age and has bugs it can't be used well). thanks

nevermind as I downloaded a new carographer and it cotained a whole bunch of new things

I have been using metamap from the beginning and yesterday I was updating all the files in the interface and i came upon Cartographer.

It looks really really good, so isues so far. But is cartographer able to add notes automatically when I mouse over a NPC ?

Metamap had a NPC database that you could access and then add the notes form that npc to the map. I do not see that option in cartographer

I've downloaded the newest version (r55657) and I'm getting errors such as "Interface\AddOns\Cartographer\Cartographer.lua:659:attempt to index field 'playerModel' (a nil value)"
and

HELP ME PWEEZE :(

with this new update for 2.3.0 it got the problem that i can't delete my notes anymore
i always put notes on it for all my q's but i can't delete them anymore so there are tons on them and don't find the still available quests becouse there are to many notes on it
when i open the window to put a not on it, i can't click on okay, cancel or delete
could anycody help me?

Why oh Why is my addons telling me that I have a dependeny missing, and then Ace2 is telling me that Cartographer is missing. I have downloaded this mod 3x and all the extras like Cartographer-Mining ect. Why am I still missing a dependency...and why is it saying Cartographer...BTW I had the old basic version and I had a button in my addons that said Cartographer, now I have all the extras and not plain old Cartographer. Please help me I'm quite upset I apologize for that but, when you've never played without cartographer and you decide to update it and then it doesn't work it's kinda aggrivating.

This addon is great except there is one minor problem I would like to fix. Everything seems to work fine except for the "Group Colors" in PvP. I used to love that addition before patch 2.3, when it used to work. Does anyone know a viable solution to this problem? The player icons on my map just appear as the blizzard default and I have the Group Colors box marked in the options.

i have been tryn to install addons to wow for days now, i have tryed to follow the instructions to the "t" but i have no addon folder , so i have tryed creating one yet it still does nothing. now i bought wow and burning crusade and installed them correctly i mean the cds do most the work this being said i should have the addon folder within my interface folder but i dont. if this helps any i have a hp pavilion entertainment pc (laptop) also i have windows vista on it if that makes any difference. please help me, im getting so frustrated, i've tryed every back up route i can think of.

you should find the folder located somewhere like: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

In the AddOns folder (if you have never added mods) then you will see 6-10 folders named 'Blizzard_*'

when you download this file and unzip it, it is going to be in a folder with the same name as the zip file, open that folder and copy/paste it's contents in your your \AddOns\ folder

Under your WOW install directory (believe it's C:\Program Files\World Of Warcraft\ by default), you will want to create an Interface folder. Then under that folder, you will want to create an Addons folder.

Then you just need to copy the mods you would like into
C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Interface\Addons\

Once you do that, launch the game (exit and relaunch if you had it up when doing this). At the character select screen you should now have a button that says "Addons" in the bottom left corner. Click on that button and you can enable/disable addons for all of your toons, or specific ones.

Im still having the error Missing Dependency on my cartographer...does anyone know how to fix this problem. Ive tried all of the other links to supposed new versions than this one and nothing works....my old version of cartographer worked just fine.
