Broker Durability Info

About Broker_DurabilityInfo

Broker_DurabilityInfo is a broker plugin to display item durability and repair cost. You can also ask it to auto repair your gear.

You have the option to:

show / hide detailed item information
show / hide durability for the items in bags
use auto repair (using guild money or your own)
set minimum faction reputation to use for repair
use repair dialog box (pops up at vendors, asking you how to repair)
enable / disable update during combat
enable / disable repair warning when entering a city

In order to use it you need a broker display addon like ButtonBin or Titan Panel.

Maybe I'm missing something, but since the update it says Durability instead of showing the average in my LDB display (I use ChocolateBar). I checked the options and saw nothing, and also did a full reinstall, deleting the savedvariables. Any idea what I'm doing wrong or is this a bug? Thanks!

If you are using the alpha version you could say it was a mistake on my side. Apparently some LDB display addon do not fully implement LDB feeds as described in the specs.

I'll fix it today.

The icon looks good, but often other broker icons don't look as nice. For this reason I generally just disable icons and use labels instead. Unfortunately the label for this one is "Broker_DurabilityInfo" and not just "Durability". Is there any chance of shortening the label a bit in a future release? Thanks for the nice work : )

I doubt an update will be needed soon so I suggest you go into the addon folder and edit Broker_DurabilityInfo.lua at line 264.

I'm attempting to download v1.5-9-g0074f2b-nolib through the Curse Client. I press the "Update" button next to the addon's name, it says "Getting download token", then the Update button gets greyed out, then I can click it again. It seems that it doesn't want to download this latest version.

Is this a Curse issue or maybe an issue with the way this version was packaged?

Not sure...I have the same problem. Downloading the file manually works fine. Will wait a bit more to see if the curse client will work.

I just noticed a very small arrow under the text "New version available". Hovering over it gives this popup:

"Curse Client 4 was unable to unzip this addon. This can occur if the download is corrupt, or was improperly packaged."

Any possibility of a -nolib version in the future? It seems most people would already have the proper disembedded libraries (Ace3, CallbackHandler, etc.). The only library that seems out-of-date is LibCrayon-3.0, which hasn't been updated for almost 2 years. I'm not sure if its function can be provided by a Blizzard API or a more recent library.

Repair costs are showing up oddly. If you're not at a repair NPC, the values are OK. If you're at an NPC where you have a discount and you hover over the icon, the repair cost is recalculated from the discounted value, so the repair costs are lowered again.

Looks like Blizzard silently changed the behavior of some functions. I'm working on a fix.

Thanks for the uptdate and for the Window to ask :)

However, i do not know of you can bring in a small issue fix :
On large costs, the "coper" icon and the text "now ?" will fall off in the next line
Maybe you can "break/newline" the money costs and the "now ?" text?

Version 1.4.1-3-g684e603 is showing up as v1.5 in my LDB bar, ChocolateBar. Is this intentional?
