FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

i have a mac, and i just tried to update my add ons, including BT4... for some reason, it is showing up as "out of date". i load out of date add ons and it still will not show up or work in game. i deleted the entier file from my interface folder, and re uploaded it, and again the same... im new to wow on mac, so maybe im missing something, but BT worked fro me no problem pre patch... any help?
Quite some anoying bug.
Changed to my second spec on my monk, and my bars changed from what I left them at. Had to redo my bars because it removed and rearranged my buttons.
Switched back to my main spec, lo and behold, that one changed too? Went to dig in the settings, and had to disable and re-enable 'state configuration', and they switched back to where I originally left them at.
Now everytime I change spec, I gotta enter the bartender settings, disable and enable the state configuration again for my bars to turn normal. My state configuration itself does not get changed, I just have to enable and disable it. (Default bar state is set to Don't page, if this helps, should be like blizzard default handles it)
Got the same problem, really annoying.. Seems to be with Stance classes.
Do you enable right after you disable it, or keep it disabled while you play the spec? Cause mine goes back when I enable again.
How do i get my bartender4 vehicle bar to show now? Ever since patch my vehicle bar has reverted to the default blizzard ui, but whenever i click to disable the blizzard default vehicle ui and choose to use the bartender4 ui I have no bars at all. Its acting like it is disabling the blizzard ui like its supposed to but it either isnt activating the bartender ui regardless of if i have it checked to enable or not, or it is just trying to hide the default ui without moving which is in turn covering up my bartender UI with the blank spot. Is there anyway around this or do i have to keep using the default UI for now? :-(
This is the most useful addon I've seen in 8 years of playing WoW. I was concerned that the patch would break it and I was dreading trying to play without it. Thankfully, our benefactors got the update out right away and I appreciate that very much.
Thank you for your work on this. It's elegant.

Thanks, just tried this - but the bindings have no effect on the bag button clicking.
Hi.
I've got the "One Bag" option enabled for my bag bar, but when I click on the bag button it only opens the first bag... how please can I make click open all the bags?
Cheers.
You can probably change that in the Blizzard keybinds .... instead of "open backpack" make it "open all bags." That's what I'm thinking anyway.

You can shift-click to open all bags.
a workaround for the "bar 1,7&8 are the same" - issue i just use extra bar 9 and 10 instead and disable bar 1 7 & 8, this might not be a solution for people using more than 6 action bars but it should suffice for most people.
If the stance bar is greyed out it means you arent currently on a class that has stances (hunters dont have stances anymore for example)
Since WoD Pre-Patch I'm noticing that Bartender frequently will change/reset some bars. Is anyone else experiencing this? I tried to download any updates but no changes since Patch day. Frequently I'll log in to the game and my bars will be completely changed around or missing altogether.
I've been disabling addons that are either not updated or I no longer want/need. Even disabled Bartender, since I'm not seeing my bars anyway. Doing so resulted in... still no bars. After further addon disabling, I found that disabling Masque allowed for my bars to show up again. Haven't tried to re-enable Bartender though. Unsure if I will or not, since I'm not in real need of so many bars anymore.
Why is the " Stance Bar " Greyed out in the options ? i really miss that
When opening the map (I have the map size maxed, so not the smaller one with the quest log on the side), the cooldown swipe disappears and the icon of my abilities shows as if there is no cooldown. Dragging the ability out and back in turns the cooldown swiper back on, but opening the map again makes the ability show as if there's no cooldown again.
Hi there,
i noticed, that if u get silenced (or other CC) the cooldown-animation is RED now (l know, its the same animation blizzard ueses if u activate CC-warning):
Could u pls insert an option to deactivate the red animation? I like the normal one in CC.
And another thing:
There is a bug if u use a CD from a hidden bar:
I have the same problem as you. The only workaround I found was using the "always hide" option.
ElvUI has the same issue.
could you please add sone screebshots for understanding what is it?
I think I have the same problem as Cruciarius81. On patch day, I just ticked 'load outdated addons' and bartender then loaded normally.
I've now updated all addons to their latest versions (including bartender4) and I have no bars showing at all. When opening the Bartender settings, I also have no bars showing under the 'Bars' category (as you can see on the screenshot - underneath the addon window is normally where I have my action bars).
I'ts probably pagination. Make sure you check that tab out. its been fairly buggy for me since 6.0.2.
