FAQ
Q: I cannot move/drag my skills on my bars?
A: Hold Shift to move skills safely. You can also unlock your bars in the Bartender4 options, but using Shift is safer and recommended.
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.
Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons should automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars. For new keybindings, you can use KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!
Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.
Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Is there a way to add additional art to the options of the Blizzard Art Bar?
Does anyone know of a way to add custom art to the Blizzard Art Bar? Like replace the gryphon or lion with something else?
3rd attempt. So now it's most likely consolidated.
Need 2 bars. One for aoe, one for single target. Basically, when I press the number 1 key, on bar "one," I cast Crusader Strike. When I switch to 2nd bar, I hit the number 1 key and it cast H.o.R.
Think there was a macro as well to switch between the bars.
2nd attempt at posting, first attempt resulted in an error that closed Explorer and lost my post.
Trying to use bartender to switch my "main" bar when I need it to. Basically, I want a bar that is for single target damage and a bar for aoe damage. When the single target damage bar is active, I press the number 1 and I cast Crusader strike. I want to be able to switch from that bar to another bar and then be able to press the number 1 key and it will cast H.o.R.
I had it set up over a year ago to do it and it worked flawlessly. However, I CAN'T remember how I did this. I think I had a macro that I hit to do this but I am struggling to remember. Most likely why I can't remember is that a friend of mine actually figured it out and as such, I am drawing a blank.
Any help is MOST appreciated. Thanks all.
Hi all,
I am hoping for some direction here. Maybe I overlooked it or more likely, didn't understand what I was reading. I use bt and have about 5 bars enabled of varying size. I would like to use 2 bars and be able to switch between the two at the press of a button/macro.
Basically, I would like to have bar "one" (don't care the bar number, using one as an example) to have my single target spells. I would like bar "two" to have my aoe spells. I want to be able to switch between the two and have my 1, 2, 3, 4, etc keys be bound to them and able to be used when they are called up. So, for example:
Bar 1 b1 Hammer of Righteous, b2 Judgement, b3 Avenger's sheild, b4 Shield of Righteousness
Bar 2 b1 Crusader strike, b2 Judgement, b3 Avenger's sheild, b4 Sor / Consecration...
Spells are irrelevant, just saying. Would like the ability to have a bar with spells I can use hitting keys and then, at a keypress/macro press, would like a new bar to replace the "old" bar with new spells that can also be used hitting keys.
Any help is sincerely appreciated!!!!!
Thanks all!
when i put a spell on the bar 1, it is copy on bar 7... is like those are the same bar... and it´s hapenning with other bars too =(
help me plisss
i love ur addon =)
pd: sorry for the bad english
For example, what does
"bind Q CLICK BT4Button13:LeftButton"
mean?
And here is the text, which I am going to copy so that you can see what the problem is:
***
In Patch 4.1, Blizzard introduced this feature:
"Spells bound to a key now start to be cast when the button is pressed down by default, instead of waiting for the key to go up. This is an option that can be turned off in the Interface menu under Combat. Mouse clicking has not changed and operates on mouse click up."
This feature had previously been used by players as part of a separate addon: Snowfall Keypress.
Fast forward to now, and it appears that Bartender is stopping this feature from working. I've tested it very carefully, making sure I hadn't unchecked it by accident. It works when Bartender is disabled only.
As you can imagine, this is cause for worry with me. I'd gotten very used to the "action on key down" playstyle. Having it removed spells a DPS loss for me.
Has anyone else experienced this? What do you suggest doing?

Please do look into this!
not sure if you are still having this problem, but Bartender has its own options for this. Just go to the bartender options, highlight "Bars" in the left column and check the box for "Toggle actions on key press instead of release". And it should work, it does for me at least ;)
Hope this helps!
