What is the enhancement in mind? How should it look and feel?

Is it possible to add a button lock for individual bars?  I have my main bars set up, but I also toggle additional bars from time to time for questing use etc., but they are not used all the time.  The problem I'm running into is that I cant button unlock my questing bar/misc bar which I switch buttons out often without unlocking everything.  This has lead to death on many occassions because I have accidentally dragged buttons out of my action/combat bars that I needed to fight or defend with.

Please add an option on the bar options to lock or uinlock the buttons for that specific bar.  The general button lock in current use does not have the flexibility for daily questing/combat needs

Having a similar problem... All my bars and buttons are locked (by Blizz interface from the beginning and by BT4 now), but sometimes I need to set some macro on the bar. Sometimes I take another talents and need to replace my abilities. And by the Blizz-interface there was a "release" hotkey (it was SHIFT for me).
Now BT4-option "buttonlock" ignores same Blizz-option ("Action Bars" -> "Lock action bars"), has no release-key and the worst is, that it activates the spell/macro which you need to replace. It also ignores Blizz-option "Combat"->"Activate ability, when key is pressed down".
It would be grate, if BT4 will synchronyze this options with default Blizz-interface and options.

P.S. I tried to comment function buttonlock() in ..\BT4\Options.lua , but it gettings worst =(

For 3 days I searched the solution... I'm so sorry, that's my fault %)
By experiments with my profiles I found, that there is BT4-option:
Bartender4.options(bars(onkeydown()))
(BT4 Options -> General -> Bars-tab -> 2nd checkbox OnKeyPressedDown)
that ignores Blizz-interface-option "OnKeyPressed". Disabling this option solved my problem.
