Would it be possible to add an option to collapse an entire action bar into a single "anchor" button?

Specifically, I am looking for a way to have a bar stay completely hidden and non-interactive until I mouse over a single designated button (the first or last icon in the bar). Once moused over, the bar would "fly out" in a chosen direction.

Standard fade-out/transparency options still leave the bar's "hitbox" active. As a healer, I need that screen real estate for larger, more legible raid and party frames. If a bar is faded but still occupies that space, accidental mouseovers trigger the bar to appear and block my view or interfere with frame clicks.

Since I have all my keys bound and track cooldowns via other methods, I only need to see these bars for rare manual clicks or swapping abilities. A true collapsible "fly-out" would allow me to overlap my raid frames over the bar's "hidden" area without interaction conflicts, only calling the bar when I specifically target the anchor button.
