Since 8.2, my Micro Menu has been disappearing very frequently. Seems to be after entering/exiting combat a few times. It comes back with a /reloadui, but otherwise remains inaccessible.

I've not experienced this. I have it shown at all times and never seen it vanish. Maybe another addon messes with it?

it's a well known issue for the entirety of BFA.  It happens mostly when you exit a vehicle or sometimes after exiting a pet battle.  It's been documented for a long time and the author has never responded about it so I doubt it ever gets fixed.

I can only fix issues that I can see, and since its been perfectly fine for me, I can only surmise its interference from another addon, which is unfortunately rather  common.

Regardless of being able to reproduce it or not, I made some changes that may make it more reliable to show up after a vehicle or a pet battle. Try 4.8.6

My menu bar is not disappearing, it is just faded severely. The settings for such in the Bartender addon do not affect its fade component.

The bar IS there, it is just faded.

I just went to SoO and did Galakras. When I came out of the gun, the bar was gone again. I have version 4.8.6.

I found another issue when you had the Blizzard Vehicle setting turned off, that is fixed in the latest alpha version.

i have the version 4.8.7 installed and will test this evening (germany)

The bug is not fixed. After a pet fight the micro menu is gone. Today CEST 6:00 PM with Version 4.8.7

Are you using any other addons that change the entire interface and may mess with the action bars in any way?

To be able to move the micromenu from its original position into the PetBattle frame or into the VehicleFrame, Bartender has to rely on the default UI acting a certain way. If another addon that also tries to replace it disrupts that, its very well possible that Bartender still thinks the PetBattle UI still owns the Micro Menu, and thus doesn't take it bakc.

I've added another series of checks to hopefully refresh the MicroMenu on pet battle and vehicle exit, grab the alpha from here for testing:

Did you try the Alpha? That really shouldn't fail anymore, as it no longer relies on the default UI behaving a certain way, but listens to the plain events.

All fixes I made are in 4.8.8, showing/hiding the micro menu is now entirely independent of the Blizzard UI itself and only driven by events, which other addons cannot interfer with (well, not easily).

Hopefully this is resolved. Please let me know if its not.
