Description of Error: Opening guild bank makes game crash

Steps to Reproduce Error: open guild bank - crash

1. Are you opening the BankItems guild bank or the normal guild bank when this happens?

2. Does this happen when BankItems is the only addon enabled?

3. Was this a crash to the desktop or a disconnect from the server?

4. If it was a crash did the game give you an error code or a log?

If you're willing it would be helpful for me to have a copy of your saved variables file so I can attempt to reproduce this and see what is going on. You can find the saved variables file at: <WoW Install Directory>_retail_\WTF\Account\<Account Name>\SavedVariables\BankItems.lua and attach it directly to this ticket.

I'm experiencing the same issue.

I don't have any .lua saved variable file under <WoW Install Directory>\_retail_\WTF\SavedVariables

The character having the issue is not fully authorized to parse all tabs of the bank guild if that may be a hint.

Still an issue.   When BankItems is enabled, opening the guild bank freezes my client for a good long while until eventually I am disconnected.  When I disable only BankItems and re-enter, the guild bank opens immediately.

Edit, 7 Aug 2023: It's the interaction of TradeskillMaster with BankItems.   If either one is disabled, there is no problem.  With both enabled, when I open the guild bank I get a multi-minute hang leading to disconnect.

I'm also starting to suspect that BankItems is responsible for taint that causes me "Interface action was blocked" messages after opening my bank, which unfortunately do not come with any way to either conclusively blame or exonerate BankItems.  It is inconsistent to reproduce normally, but in this session where BankItems was the only addon I disabled I have visited my bank a couple of times and not seen the "was blocked" problems afterward.


Nevermind, this interface block just happened.   If BankItems is involved somehow, it isn't the only thing and is probably the fault of some other addon.  Still, the guild bank issue is definitely a thing.
