Description

Ingela's Rapture is a lightweight and highly configurable addon that gives you a cooldown bar for the internal cooldown of Rapture.

Why?

When Cataclysm came with new talents and increased spell-costs, the tools to regenerate mana becomes a lot more valuable. With the talent Strength of Soul and casting Heal, you cannot throw a shield every time the Weakend Soul is off, thinking you will procc rapture. This addon helps you out so you can time it correctly and gain as much mana as possible from this talent, making this a simple yet great tool to help you reach better performance in both raids and heroics.

While the addon itself works as intended and shows a countdown timer for the internal CD of Rapture, I am not able to move the timer from the middle of my screen.

If I type in /rap or /rapture, the options for this addon doesn't come up. All you see is "Ingela's Rapture" listed under the "AddOns" tab while to the right of the window , there is just a blank side where you are suppose to be able to customize the addon. I am currently on the 5.3 patch also. I also disabled all my other addons, and tested this as the only loaded addon.

This is the problem I'm having right now--I can't move it out of the centre of my screen and it's right in the way all the time. I love the addon but the ability to move it isn't working. I can still change the font size/et cetera, but I can't move it. :/

Hey there,

I had a guildie ask about this so I went ahead and took a look. With the Patch 5.3 API changes:

If InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory(panel) is called before the addon panels list is updated after adding a new panel, the interface options frame will open to another panel. You can work around this behavior by calling the function twice.

Using this info, if you change the last function in core.lua to this:

function Rapture:ChatCommand(input)
if not input or input:trim() == "" then
InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory(self.optionsFrame)
InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToCategory(self.optionsFrame)
else
LibStub("AceConfigCmd-3.0").HandleCommand(Rapture, "rap", "Rapture", input)
end
end

You'll get an options menu and the ability to change the bar position.

Not sure why everyone else is having problems. Currently running on 5.2 patch and I have no problems with this addon. You get mana back from "Rapture" when your Power Word: Shield gets absorbed/dispelled, and not from fading away. To probably test this addon, you have to get a bunch of mobs to attack you to fully absorb your shield.

Installed this addon while setting up a new UI and when I click "run bar" it shows the bar but when I cast my bubble it doesn't do anything \= Please update this addon!!!! I've been looking for an addon that monitors the internal cooldown of rapture but I can't seem to get Tellmewhen to work.

Works for me, though i would not use it unless raiding due to conflicts with old addons.

How does this rapture thing works, do you get a debuff? If so you should be able to use powaauras?

Not working in 5.2 does anyone know if the spell id needs to be changed again and if so what the number is I cant loose this addon its totally awesome, please please update it for us!

Works for 5.1, Just do that ! :

Try enable "Load out of date AddOns" and go to Interface\AddOns\ingelasrapture\ open "ingelasrapture.toc"(open with editor) and change

##Interface 40200
to
##Interface 50001

Well I assume this mod is dead, can anyone direct me to a similar addon that is working with MoP?? I can't seem to find one for the life of me and really need one.

Having the same problems as the others with 5.0.4, even with changes the interface number I cannot get the addon to work.

this addon doesnt work for me in 5.0.4 can we please have an update as there isnt another addon like this to track rapture without heavy customisation.

Is anyone else having problems with this addon in 5.0.4. Have tried to load out of date addons and even tried changing the .toc file. Still no countdown for rapture on my end. Please help.

If the addon works fine in 5.0.4, and you want to continue using it without having to keep "loading out of date addons", you can modify this bit of code:

Open up the file "ingelasrapture.toc"

and change the first line:

## Interface: 40200

to

## Interface: 50001
