470 - Cannot click links

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. have friend send you link via whisper or btag message
2. attempt to click on link to copy/paste to browser
3. observe as nothing happens

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to have window appear to copy URL from. Currently nothing happens.

What version of the product are you using?
r518 for 7.1.0 6

Do you have an error log of what happened?
No

This is a side effect of dirty fix, which didn't actually fix ANY of the 7.1 issues. It just hacked off something that wasn't working. A lot more things aren't working but aren't throwing errors.
