Total Threat

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

Total Threat is a tool to capture the total threat built on a mob. It will poll the Blizzard Threat API while in combat and report on the last known value for your target. At the end of the fight it will record the total threat, the combat time, and the calculated TPS (i.e. total threat / combat time).

This addon has a few limitations to be aware of:

  1. Since the addon is polling the threat API, if you land the killing blow, the threat for that blow will not be included in the reported threat. Unfortunately, I do not know of a way to get the final threat value once the mob is dead.
  2. It works off of your current target. I've added code to try to not reset the threat value if you lose the target since that happens alot when you kill something. It is possible due to certain situations that the threat information is lost but that shouldn't happen often.

The threat information can be reported to the chat frame after each fight. It also is an LDB broker that will display the last ten combats.

This addon is designed for people looking to test and theorycraft threat-related issues. It isn't designed to be used by most players.
