Tank Warnings
Tank Warnings is a simple addon to warn configurable messages upon certain events related to tanking, like Taunt resists or usage of special mitigation abilities that are usually used in emergencies, like Shield Wall and so on.
Supports Warriors, Druids, Paladins and Death Knights, as well as integration with BigWigs creating global or local timers for specific abilities.
Messages can be sent to scrolling combat text addons as well as common channels like Raid Warning, Raid, Party, custom channel names, etc.

Blizzard added 3 new parameters to this event in 4.2 and 4.3.

Posted Jan 20, 2011I've just made an update to the addon, removing code not needed and adding new spells and abilities that are either new or were changed to be tanking abilities. This change is still in the trunk, not released yet, will have to test it on WoW before taging production ready which I hope it to be either late tonight or tomorrow during the day.

Posted Jan 19, 2011I'd like to see a warrior's enraged regeneration added to that addon, because the druid-version (frenzied regeneration) is also available. I've done it myself for now (the code isn't that hard after all), but seeing it implemented per default would be nice.

Posted Mar 15, 2010awesome addon. however i would like to report an annoying bug which is the disable annoucement feature. i have a dk tank and i don't want some of my abilities to be announced. unticking them doesn't seem to work. addon keeps announcing.

Posted Feb 8, 2010Sorry, shattering throw is not really a mechanic that the whole raid should be aware about, the melee DPS ? yes definately but a macro can work out nicely for that, just do a /say combined with /in for the melee next to you know when you've thrown it, besides, it leaves the scope of the addon warnings, as it's an offensive ability and not a defensive and/or important while tanking.
