  And if you delete the mentioned file ony:

  "WowInstall\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SERVERNAME\CHARACTERNAME\ SavedVariables\Recount.lua"

  Then try to log in then the issue happens again after the next login?

  I'll say this: I have the exact same issue, but just on one alt.

  I have recount on all my alts and it works fine, all but for one. When I enable it for my horde rogue, wow just stops responding and dies at the loading screen. I have no issues at all with any of my other alts even my alliance rogue is perfectly fine, and they -all- use the exact same addons, aside my healer whom uses healbot.

  DBM, Prat, Tidyplates, Shadow unit frames, Moggit, Ark Invatory, Bartender, Spell flash, Handy Notes, RECOUNT, Sexymap, and healer only, Healbot.

  Every alt uses those exact same addons, every alt has no issue... Every alt but my horde rogue, whom even with recount alone enabled, wow will stop responding and never load, giving me no error log no nothing, and deleteing the WTF folder for that character becomes a temp fix.

  i think, my pc is powerfull enough ;) i use a ci7 2600k @4.3 Ghz, Gigabyte Geforce GTX 970 G1 Gaming, 8gb ram and i use a ssd. current i have 100 mb memory usage by addons (60 mb if i use 32 bit client) and this is no problem for my pc. i have played a little with your code and i think, here is a timing problem by CreateMainWindow().

  You actually have to setup the addon for your PC specs, reseting big data before logging out could help, but keeping less fight segments and keeping only boss segments can also significally reduce the data to save and load. A stronger PC could easily handle really big even 100-200 MB data specially with an SSD.

  same issue, ever if recount have many data saved. delete of the file "WowInstall\WTF\Account\ACCOUNTNAME\SERVERNAME\CHARACTERNAME\SavedVariables\Recount.lua" help a is not a solution for ever :(
