Recount

619 - custom recount report: healing per dispell

Is it possible to make a Recount report that shows healing per dispell for each player, (i.e. total healing done / total dispells)?  This would be VERY useful in RBGs. Why? scroll to end if interested.*

Thx :)))

FYI Ketho was kind enough to write a script that reports the top 5 dispells and top 5 heals:

/run Recount.MainWindow.ReportButton:Click()Recount_ReportWindow.CloseButton:Click()for _,v in ipairs({5,13})do Recount:SetMainWindowMode(v) Recount_ReportWindow.ReportButton:Click()SendChatMessage("----","BATTLEGROUND")end

Perhaps it could be modified?

Problem: what if the top 5 healers and top 5 dispellers are not mutually exclusive? They usually are but not always. probably best to go with all 10.

Problem: the order of top healers usually does not correspond to the order of top dispellers. Don't let this tiny problem stop you. i believe in your programming ability.

*The ratio of healing per dispell is more telling than each value separately. for example:

Total Healing:
Dischealz - 6.500.000
Shamwow - 5,700,000
Bravehearth - 2,800,000

Total Dispells:
Shamwow - 117
Bravehearth - 67
Dischealz - 43

Heals per Dispell:
Dischealz - 151,163
Shamwow - 48,718
Bravehearth - 41,791

Even though Bravehearth didn't see as much action as Shamwow, we know when he IS healing he is doing comparable amounts of healing per dispells. However check out Dischealz...he's barely touching his dispell button!! nooob!!!!

Also, the raw recount numbers for healing and dispells are not accurate, especially when the other player is out of range and not running recount (recount syncs in the background). So its not really fair to link these numbers. However when recount DOES measure healing it is also presumably measuring dispells so the RATIO of these numbers would be VERY accurate, even for players not running recount. You follow?
