I crave a queue, and queue all, button for this wonderful little add on. Oh pretty please? :-)

a nice opportunity could be: moveable recipes in the favorites so you can arrange your favorites on your own behaviour and sort it by hand for your interest

When searching, you just select and delete the text to clear it.

For now, the window is not movable, but that is coming in 0.6

I'd really like a button to clear searches as mentioned in one of your tickets, as well as the ability to drag and/or relocate the frame. Those two features alone would make this addon do everything I care about - a queue would also be nice, but the first two things are far more important to me.

Great job, man! Really awesome addon with the potential to be THE tradeskill UI replacement. :)

Out of curiosity - how does one clear the search queue right now?

I'd like to see, ala Skillet or ASTW, the required level next to an item, if there is one. I.e. Savage Saronite gear being blue and level 78.

Otherwise this is a real nice add-on. The auction house style listings certainly have a use in the higher levels and the countless recipes we know.

I agree with your sentiment, although it seems we expect different things as the core goal of the addon. :)

MrTrader for me was supposed to eventually be a tradeskill window replacement, with a menu for easily accessing my tradeskills and those of my alts. I just didn't know what to do about the window at the time. But as I had a solid concept for the menu, I figured I'd release it as a widget-style addon and expand it once I figured out what I wanted the window to actually do.

The auto-linking wasn't even part of the plan, but I got enough requests (I also had the time, and the main profession links were already present in the data the addon keeps around) that I figured I'd throw it in. That kinda became the de-facto purpose of the addon considering it took me so long to get around to the window work I originally wanted to start on.

But... that said, you still have a point that it would probably be better to split this up into components in the long run. In the short term, MrTrader's UI window can be turned off, and should have low impact on the client. I could see MrTrader becoming a suite in the future that includes all the components, and making the various components available individually under the "MrTrader" umbrella.

It is good feedback and gives me something to chew on. I've opened up a ticket to track this.

Thanks for the kind words. It's sounding like I am on the right track to make a few people happy with this.

    Hi again,

I switched over to Mr.Trader - completely. Got rid of ATSW. After my last post here I thought I'll give it a try and see how the Tradeskill UI from Mr.Trader is working - and I was really surprised. :-)

So, the next thing I would like to see would be the "Tradeskill Queue".

I like Mr. Trader for easy access to any professions that I have on my account. Spanning into things like the tradeskill window however, might be better tuned for a seperate addon itself rather than expanding Mr. Trader as it stands.

I already have several addons that change the tradeskill window, use the auction house for shopping lists, etc. I liked Mr. Trader to just simply display links when whispered or guild requests, not to revamp my Trade UI or have anything to do with my tradeskill window.

Just a suggestion to perhaps keep the addon focused on what it was originally intended for (linking professions) and not adding other elements which may overlap with other addons into Mr. Trader, but rather separate addons themselves.

I would hate to see Mr. Trader become bloated with too many other features aside from link whispers, because that's what I wanted to use it for.

Quick rundown of what the options mean (in my mind anyways)...

    Refinements are things like:

    • More ways to get at the features exposed via the context menus
    • Options to be smarter about what filters to show (like say, hiding the "Difficulty" filters when looking at a tradeskill that is maxed out).
    • Refinements to behavior of the window to make it more intuitive
    • Support for some key addons (Ackis Recipe List), or possibly replacement functionality (Tradeskill Profit Maximization).
    • Generally anything that makes using the tradeskill window a smoother experience

Tradeskill Queue and Shopping Lists should be pretty self-explanitory, I hope.

Other is basically anything not listed above. Please leave a comment stating what I may have missed here...
