Table of Contents

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING

All mounts including Mist of Pandaria mounts have been added if they do not show up for you make sure you have the latest version of the lib

Library to aid in the classification of mounts. See http://www.wowace.com/addons/libmounts-1-0/pages/api/lib-mounts-1-0/lib-mounts-1-0/ for API info

Use http://www.wowace.com/addons/libmounts-1-0/pages/lib-mounts-1-0-manual-documented/ for API documentation till the documenter starts working again.

Why this Library?
Because Blizzard refuses give us any way to sort our mounts by their type (ground,air,water,speed,location). This lib remedies this problem and allows addon authors to easily categorize the mounts a character has.

How do i even use this addon?, i've been trying to figure it out for an hour now and nothing. I want to read those links but every time i click them i get a 403 error and can't view the page. so I'm completely lost with this addon

I updated as many mounts as I could think of, certainly any that were reported here. Just download this data.lua and replace the one in your AddOns/LibMounts-1.0/LibMounts-1.0/

Then when you log in it will say that it has added your new mounts and then you won't get the missing mounts messages anymore.

EDIT: I updated it again, and I believe I got all mounts that were missing.

Is this ever going to be updated to include the latest mounts? I use this library in my own addon, but I may have to just build out my own lookup functionality at this rate.

ok, i have read all the comments. This still does not support the Jade pandaren kite or the white riding goat. please add these mounts.

this might be stupid but, how do you use the addon? i cant find anything in the AddOns tab or a macro :/ its probably something really obvious im missing but please help :)

Latest r74 downloaded just from this page. here is the error message i get : http://tinyurl.com/9f6zccd on a note, i can just mount the turtle fine, like the rest of the mounts.

LibMounts-1.0: Your mount addon tried to get info about Azure Riding Crane before PLAYER_LOGIN or you have not learned how to summon Azure Riding Crane, as such LibMounts does not know anything about it.

it should only spam you on interface load (start and /reloadui)

i am working on a version of the lib that doesn't use a hard database anymore but uses ingame data. but i have been busy at school :(

also check the latest version i added the Goat :)

LibMounts-1.0: Black Riding Goat was not found in the mount database. If this is a valid mount, please contact us at http://www.wowace.com/addons/libmounts-1-0/ to get this mount added ASAP

By the way is there a reason it keeps spamming that over and over in game? I take it one or two warning should be enough.
