Audible Alerts for targeting
Currently you are using:
Announcer.lua folder:
Sound\\interface\\AlarmClockWarning3.ogg for the mouse-over alerting;
Sound\\interface\\AlarmClockWarning3.ogg for the target lock alerts.
These work just fine, but it would be nice to have more choices.
Thanks for your time!

Abelius Jul 27, 2016 at 09:12 UTC - 0 likesI don't have the slightest idea of LUA nor how it interacts with WoW, but I had the notion that addons like WeakAuras or DeadlyBossMods take their sounds from a shared library or something like that... (wild guessing because they seems to be the same sounds all over)
So I think these two "addons" should help you if I'm not mistaken:
http://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/libsharedmedia-3-0 http://mods.curse.com/addons/wow/sharedmediaadditionalsounds
The API of the first is here:
http://www.wowace.com/addons/libsharedmedia-3-0/pages/api-documentation/
I hope this makes your work easier. It also could help to expand the selection of sounds that justbecawz asked for.
Thank you for your work!
Edit: I just realized this ticket is from Feb! Sorry. :-D

Archarodim Feb 22, 2016 at 23:19 UTC - 0 likesI'll implement this in a future version but there is no easy way to select existing sounds unless you know their path and name.... I could provide command line settings for this but if you have other good sound pairs in mid you can propose them here and I'll add them as alternative sounds.
