Gnomish Yellow Pages

This project is abandoned and its default file will likely not work with the most recent version of World of Warcraft. Whether this project is out of date or its author has marked it as abandoned, this project is no longer maintained.

The Gnomish Yellow Pages will monitor all chat traffic to identify people advertising trade skills. As trade skill ads are identified, they are recorded and stored for later retrieval.

type: /gyp

to bring up a window with all information in an easy to read table.

strangers names appear in white guildmates are displayed in green friends are displayed in yellow

anybody in your local zone is shown in cyan

all offline players are red

the row of trade skill buttons will access the entire database of trade recipes so you can search for whatever recipe you wish. click to open whatever trade skill browser you use.

when browsing a trade skill, selecting a recipe will cause gyp to update the trade link color to light blue if that recipe is contained in that link. also any searches in the trade skill browser will be reflected in the gyp link color -- links that contain none of the recipes returned by the search will be dark yellow; normal yellow links indicate that at least one of the recipes in the browser window matches the trade link.

Then know you only have to find a way to merge it into GW and it would be perfect ! :D (yeah i know, asking too much, but i really love your addons, still wonder how i managed to play without them)

O wo is me. This is one of my most used and loved addons. Yet since catt 4.0.3 it is completely broken for me. I read the post about gnomeworks taking all your time .......but ....but. Skillet already does what it does. No one else has anything like this to take its place. Not to be dramatic or anything. But without this we are all DOOMED .....DOOMED I tell you. The very foundation of azeroth will crumble ...... fer real. Noobs will enharet the realm. All toons and classes will be nurfed to pre BC leavels. All mobs will become elite. there will be horde in the streets of IF....... o wait there are always horde in IF NVM....... you get my point. WoW will just never be the same

Its no longer recording links for me either and causes a huge lag spike when I switch between professions. I'm lost without this mod :-(

Tried turning off the "update stranger location" but it still doesn't work. Had turned off all other addons, but still the popup that says "your addon is experiencing a large number of errors...". Nothing is captured. Disabled lua error popup, still doesn't work. >20k fans will appreciate it if you could update. Thanks and happy x'mas.

can't link smelting. it's a blizz thing. it's always been that way and it's always annoyed me.

arg this mod seems to make the who list pop up every 5 seconds or so. anyone got a fix per chance. i miss it already

the fix is to turn off the update feature. interface->addons->gnomishyellowpages. "update stanger location" (i think that's what it's called). there's really only like 1 option on the page.

I'd like a Scan-button or somthing in the guild tab, or some other way to get all my guildmates profession imported in to GYP
